| How do you guys feel about Tokyo ghoul season 2, I see that some people think it’s really bad and not based off the manga. In my opinion I like season 2 even though it doesn’t go with the manga, it’s fire. |

Well people say that it’s not good cause it’s not based off the manga, I don’t really care about that I just like how it picks up off on the fight in the end and how the story goes on. I can understand how that was not a good reasoning I just didn’t put all the reasons I like it in there, all I’m saying is that people don’t like it cause it’s not based off the manga but that doesn’t really matter to me. |

The higher ups had requested 12 episodes per season. How the fuck could they possibly write an original story and conclude it in just 12 episodes. So the problem is that they never had the time necessary to flesh out this arc. They even cut the entire final battle with Arima because they had no time (not that they could have squeezed the original story in 12 episodes without cutting stuff). So in a way this worked both in favour and against them. I like this season but I can’t deny that it kinda fucked up the anime. But I’d love to see a more fleshed out version of the aogiri Kaneki arc. It has potential I agree I couldn’t say it better |
