If they came out with a live action adaptation of food wars, do you think it would be good or too out there to be good? Personally I would probably really enjoy it especially with over the top Japanese actors. I just hope they wouldn't ruin the MC. Idk just wondering what other people would think about it. Teehee

Would it be good? Well, a lot of live action anime adaptations have been made but a lot of the time they not really that good lol

I don’t know if the exchi aspect of the show would translate well to live action. I also find that over the top characters can be cringey in live action but anime has that level of disconnection from reality that removes the cringe.

Stop.......just stop, Shokugeki no Soma is my spirit animal, and I don't want anything different compare to it, so no, leave the masterpieces alone, if anyone talks about my favorites that needed an abominable adaptation, I'll tell them to eat thier heart out for good!

If they made a live action (witch is very unlikely), then they would either have to remove the ecchi scenes or keep the ecchi scenes but have the show look really terrible. If they removed the ecchi scenes it could be quite good, but with em I don’t see a good adaptation happening. Although this is entirely hypothetical.
