No season 2, should i start watching this?

I heard this anime is so good, but i also heard that there will never be a season 2, and i also don't like light novels so...
i don't know what to do :(((

Definitely a unique art style it is quite slow paced mainly focuses on the characters etc if your into that sort of thing

I liked this anime a lot and haven't read the light novel yet. I really hope for a second season or at least a movie, but I'm alright with there not being one. I don't regret watching this regardless of it.

The itch to know what happens next is certainly still there, so maybe one day I'll read the whole thing, and maybe you'll want to do too if you watch.

Definitely should. Novels 1-4 are great, 5-6 the story starts to stagnate, 7-9 starts getting pretty interesting again, 10-14 start to feel like a drag, 15 starts things back pretty excitingly.

It’s a pretty slow burn I wish they went more into it with another season I enjoyed the watch ide say give it a shot it’s not that long

It's a good anime but not so special that you have to watch it. There's a YouTube channel (Unseen Whispers) that's made a few videos covering as best they can as to what's happened post the anime. I think there's ten videos and they're not nearly as fun as the anime, but for those who've seen it, the videos are an added bonus as the anime is never coming.

I thought it was really REALLY boring. Nothing of note to say whatsoever. Watch isekai izakaya instead. That shows a hidden gem.

The only people who say it's different from other isekai have not watched the many great isekai available. This is one of the lower ones. If you like only the worst parts of anime like pointless scenes talking breasts and peeping on girls baths, go for it. People think the lack of plot and slow pacing makes it good. It doesn't. Mushoku Tensei, Alicization, so many other great isekai with character development and slow pacing that actually have purposeful scenes. Watching this is like watching generic fillers with time skips and a narrator filling in details that should have been shown.
