Faithful?

Hey Guys!! Just wanna start Food Wars so I wanna know how faithful the 5-6 seasons are to the manga? Also, if they aren't, is that a good thing or bad? I have no problem switching b/w the manga and the anime at any time cos I already have a few volumes with me .

It’s pretty faithful, except that the anime skips a minor arc between seasons 4 and 5. I also thought the last arc was better in the manga, so maybe just switch to the manga after season 4.

Seasons 1 to 4 are pretty much exactly like the manga. Season 5 however, changes many things and skips some parts. Personally, that last part is better in the manga but as you may have heard the last part of the series really goes downhill compared to the rest of the story. Imo the season 5 changes only makes it worse honestly.

Thank you very much, I think I am ready to go on with the series. Switching to the manga after S4, got it 👍🏻👍🏻

It was faithful except 4 and 5. They skipped some arc during those seasons. probably your unsatisfied with season 5 but that was also the almost the same thing happend in manga, they just change little and rush some arc like the one that they are on the beach

Its up to you if you want to continue s4 and 5. Couz the only problem with s4 is the they rush an arc in 1/4 i guesd of that episode but in manga it has 5-7 chapters if i remember. In s5 there is an arc that squised at 1 episode only. if the problem was the ending, both ending(manga & anime) was mediocore that you want more, for short was unsatisfying but for me manga ending was better than anime
