So I get that this film is non-canon, but if I am on the Sabaody Archapelago arc (just finished Thriller Bark) are there any spoilers from later on? Like them mentioning deaths, and stuff like that.

I’m not sure cuz I watched it a while ago but just to be safe the movie canonically would take place after episode 574-ish.

I wouldn't if were you, there is there is definitely certain developments for certain characters and the state of the one piece world that you wouldn't want spoiled. So after after ep 574 as the other person said(578 I guess if bother with filler)
Strong World is another great film you could watch now though seeing as its roughly set between thriller bark and Sabaody
