Don't worry I won't spoil anything :) First half - 6/10 Second half 4/10 (ignoring ending) Original Concepts, Designs and Art are the strongest points of the series. Story in the first half was pumped with action , predictable, and easy to follow while being entertained. Second half was mostly characters having debates about philosophy without satisfying results. Concepts and direction of manga from first half were mostly abandoned. Overall Platinum End weakest point are main characters which lack personality, resolve, interesting relatioships and significant development (exacly what makes Death Note great). Though some side characters are okay. |
| 2/10 since the beginning. It's an awful cheap flat lifeless uninspiring disappointing shit. The concept is intriguing, but the characters are subpar, and the plots are bland. From Death Note to Bakuman, it is shocking how bad this is. Easily their worst work yet. I really hope their next manga is great again. |
