I am surprised this manga haven't got any translation past Chapter 11 for years, checking in MangaDex (saw one website providing until ch. 29, where the events in episode 12 happened). Is there any particular reason why the manga translation didn't continue? I'd really like it if the manga got more translation.

well sadlythe anime did not get ver popular in the west either so I doubt the transcans will pick it up.

It's because this manga has official translation. For now there are 6 volumes (29 chapters)
Soon volume 7 should be released. It's already in Japan.
