Looking for anime that will get me emotionally invested

Hello, it's my first time posting to this forum. Please let me know if I am doing this wrong.

So, to cut a long story short, I haven't watched much anime for about ~7 years time now. I've watched a few here and there, but it isn't until this last weeks time I've really gotten back into it, and remembered why I loved anime so much in the first place.

One of the most recent shows I've finished is ERASED, and it has gotten me to look for other series that may give me similar emotional investment. The only other show I've seen since then, was Anohana, which did what I was hoping and got my emotions all in a twist.

Now I turn to you all, as I would really appreciate your help. I am definitely looking for something that will get me emotional, but I also very much enjoy a good mystery. If it is any help, other favorites of mine are The Promised Neverland, Koe No Katachi, Odd Taxi & Death Parade.

There's actually emotional stuff all the way through, however it just hits hardest at the end.

From your PTW list I would recommend Death Note, Your Name and Cowboy Bebop.

Other recommendations:
-5 Centimeters per Second (I wasn't a fan, but it is pretty popular and definitely beautiful to look at)
-The Garden of Words (Visually one of the most beautiful anime)
-The Anthem of the Heart (It is a bit similar to A Silent Voice which you liked so much)
-Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms (Very emotional)
-When Marnie Was There (Very emotional)
-Toradora! (It is a comedy but it also has a lot of emotional scenes)

Wow, thank you all for the great responses. I have a lot of things to check out now, I really appreciate it. Further recs will of course also be appreciated, but I am just very happy that so many of you gave me good tips for what I am looking for <:)
