Questions to those who read arc 6.....

Arc 6 is imo the best isekai arc in the entire iseaki genre as it's an arc you would never expect to read from an isekai series. As for what is so special about this arc and why it's a fan-favourite amongst Re:Zero fans, is because it is one of the few series that actually brilliantly executed a very detestable trope that could have so easily killed the series. Also, it's the arc with the best twists, best character development that is given to not only the main cast but also to its side characters, especially to that of a character that was unlikable in previous arcs. The antagonists are chilling, the climax is very emotional and the ending is a huge WTF that gave birth to another stellar arc (Arc 7), that can also be considered to be a masterpiece in the making.

So as such, I believe that if it's directed like S2 and has the production quality of S1, then it most certainly will have the potential to be indeed in the MAL top 10 anime of all time if it's adapted right. Also, the arc is like a mix of the best elements of the previous arcs before it; The allure of Arc 1, the mystery of Arc 2, the psychological thrill of arc 3, the emotional turmoil of Arc 4 and the all stake action of Arc 5. So yeah if S4 ever gets announced, you can expect to see it have the biggest hype Re:Zero could potentially get.
