On hitous or finished??

It's finished or on hitous because I don't wanna invest time in something that on hitous and doesn't know when comes back

Ratings doesn't matter only enjoyment does.
Masterpiece or mid, generic or fresh,best or worst are all subjective
Eren is goat,and aot is still a masterpiece (eg.subjective opinion)

Technically hiatus but I doubt it will be coming back still a masterpiece though definitely recommend you read it

We'll have to wait until Inoue finds inspiration to finish off the series before he gets back to releasing new chapters. Until then, he's busy drawing the Real manga

Hiatus.
Inoue got destroyed by Vagabond. Burnout. That was 2010/11 after that 1 year hiatus he struggled to get back to a regal schedule and the "last" chapter came in May 2015. The art alone will take 2-3 times longer than "normal shonen art". After that Inoue hasn't drawn any manga up until Summer 2019 when he pick up the pen again and started drawing his second manga REAL again. REAL is getting published regularly with chapters every 2-3 months. Inoue also stated back then that his main goal was to show Musashi become the legendary samurai which he archived and the last Arc would be Musashi vs Kojiro. He is unsure how to portray it and is stuck creatively. He only will continue once he knows how to do it so he can deliver a perfect last Arc where he would have zero regrets and pay respect to the real Musashi, Kojiro and all the other characters based on real people.
So long answer short. He got burnt out and only will finish it if he his 100% sure about the next Arc/Chapters.

You can read it and not feel that it is incomplete because he just entered the new arc (possibly the final arc) and has tied up everything upto that pretty well
