Why no season 3 or 4? Anyone else enjoy this anime and then it ended off like that?!

Really wish there was a 3rd and 4th season, was enjoying the show and wanted to see who he was gonna pick, as I’m Team Chitoge. Sadly the ended to season 2 just left off in the middle of the show so I had to go to the manga to see who he picked. Does anyone else hate when romcoms do that? Why even make the anime if your not gonna have the full story. Just my thoughts!

They usually will do that with shows that dont sell well. Or most anime is made as advertisements for the manga. And like you said, people buy the manga then to pick up where the show left off.

Honestly I'm glad there isnt more of this show. It was melodramatic as hell and overcomplicated just to try to seem smart. Really why do all these girls have the same memories and leys that each fit the dudes treasure chest thing. It makes no sense at all unless theres parallel universe shit going on.

He died doing what he wanted, no matter what, right? I bet he was happy.

I completely agree with you. This was not your usual rom-com so I really like it. It would have been great if they could've ended the anime.
Maybe starting the manga would be the only option left for us!

I am a fan of the Anime I don't know why they did not continue the series I was really obsessed with the series that I became a fan of chitoge so much, I want the next season to come

Should have stopped at season 1 looking how poor season 2 was. No character development, just a harem that tries to be funny by being overly dramatic most of the time. Truthfully season 2 was a massive disappointment because I definitely enjoyed season 1 and was looking for more.

No wonders why it's been discontinued. Sales must have been low and the broadcasting numbers must have lowered as well overtime. Regardless if we disregard season 2, it's pretty sad it wasn't continued.

The show did what it was supposed to do. You ended up picking up the manga to find out who won. It seems alot of harem mangas dont finish nowadays. I would be surprised if our new ones that just came out finish.

I read in some other thread that one of the voice actor got sick and passed away, so they didn’t continue with the next season’s production, but I’m not a 100% sure if it’s true.
