| The novels are a lot more detailed, and the anime adds some original content like the historian episodes that adds context to the universe-building. They also changed some small details here and there, but nothing major. Also Dusty and Jessica have expanded roles in the OVA. Watch the OVAs first as each volume of the novels are around 300 pages long. Both have their charms and I love them both equally. |
