does it count that i've only watched the anime?

i think it was pretty good, but i don't think it would be amongst the top choices for me to recommend to anybody

I am reading this manga right now and I'm om chapter 300 and something.

It doesn't deserve that weak anime adaptation, it needs a remake, cuz it is a very good old title.
