jojo part 8 jojolion chapter 106 came out and it didnt reveal release date. there is a high possibility it will be revealed in 18 days when jojolion chapter 107 and volume 26 of jojolion comes out. they usually put the promotion stuff on volumes and covers of a new chapter. 18 days is a high chance for a release date reveal

edit: it still didnt happen

I think it'll probably come next Spring but it's possible it comes earlier, maybe Winter. If it did then this Winter gonna be the most stacked season in a while.

It’s top 2 for a reason, the fights and story are amazing. A huge part is horse racing but it’s also more than that.

Aight I’m very excited. I’ve been watching anime for a while but I just got into JoJos in the past month or so. I just started part 4. I don’t read manga often but I’ll read part 7 once I’ve watched part 6 when it’s aired.

I don’t know if there are the same stands, I’m only reading at the beginning and no stands from the previous parts have appeared yet, the ones that appeared so far are new ones

I see, but since it is an alternate universe theres a possibility that they could exist but maybe just havent been manifested in anyone yet. Or yea it could just be different stands all together, thats cool too.

part 7 is like you said, extra jojo. jojo as a series is not finished and there is a chance it will be connected so it might connect to first 6 parts. probably if he makes part 9 because i dont see part 8 ever being connected to first 6. the reason why parts 7 and 8 are after first 6 and not its own series is because its alternative timeline and there are characters with similar names and stuff so you need to know previous 6 parts to trully experience parts 7 and 8. since its the same seires, as i said, it might connect in the future as chapters comes out. i dont know why parts 7 and 8 would be in the same series as first 6 if hirohiko araki didnt imagine for them all to be connected. so they might travel paralel universes if he decides to connect it in new chapters one day

I wouldn't say extra content, it's literally a new story set in a new universe with a different story. See part 7&8 as Part 1 and part 2 of a brand new interconnected story.

if we take Golden Wind as example
there's only 2 years gap between Diamond in Unbreakable (last episode in 2016) and Golden wind (first episode in 2018). Just like Golden Wind (last episode in 2019) and Stone Ocean (most likely will come out later this year 2021). If that's so, the preparation for animating the show takes approximately the same time as Golden Wind.

It affects on the airing of the first episode, Golden Wind was confirmed in June, debuted pilot and announced the voice actors in July (1 month gap) and aired its first episode in October (4 months gap from June).

And maybe, Stone Ocean would be like this : Announced in April, debut pilot and announce the voice actors in this month and air the first episode in August.

But after all, it's just my speculation lol. I just can't wait to see my girlies animated

You might be onto something since a new JoJo volume will come out this month and on May 19 which is the release date of the new chapter and volume, JoJolion is now 10 years old. I really hope they give more info about the Part 6 anime instead of just a png of Jolyne.

Everything's in place, and they've taken the bait... Yes. Now to start reeling them in...
