I agree, if you're enjoying an anime why are you going to let a triangle ruin it for you? Just keep watching for yourself and wait and find out.

Probably because love triangles are played out and all they do is result in ship-to-ship combat. There has to be a better way to interject conflict/drama into a romance story and the age gap alone would have sufficed IMO.
