I don't think it's a prequel. It's just set in the same universe in another place based on how the story has progressed.

Very true, so far the only thing that directly links the 2 was the friend nickname ‘crewcrew’ that he was talking to, so ye it’s unlikely to be a direct prequel but there’s bound to be some major differences, or it has to explore further the truth of the origin of the monsters because if it’s just like the previous one with a different setting, it will probably become boring quite quickly.

Yeah I hope they dwell on where the monsters came from because sweet homes ending was too quick and had no real questions answered. BUT I trust Kim carnby and I'm sure he'll do justice to shotgun boy

Brilliant and amazing prequel, it still had the same thrilling vibe like Sweet Home.

I also love how the main protagonist is connected with one of the characters in the sequel

It also gives "Bastard" vibes, which I love. (Bastard is also one the author's works, available on WEBTOON)

Yes, it totally does and I love it! It's amazing! Tbh, I didn't expect it to be this good but I love the atmosphere. I didn't even know about it until yesterday when I checked LINE Webtoon and saw it was one of the upcoming series. Very excited to read more, it's really good!
