| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Good stuff. I don't remember the first 2 eps that well but it's nice to establish more insight into the MC's character with that flashback sequence. Wonder when we'll be seeing that kid again. FeelsBadMan I probably wouldn't continue this if I didn't understand Chinese to a decent conversational level, on account of the awful subs/translation. Thankfully the subs at least help fill the gaps for me when there's anything spoken I don't understand. Feels like I'm doing a combination of reading the subs, ignoring them and actively re-interpreting/re-translating them in my head. Certainly an... interesting viewing experience for me in that regard, but eh it works for now. |
