A: To put it bluntly, Six Eyes is the eyes that show cursed energy in so much detail. He can even see high-resolution thermography when wearing a blindfold. He can even recognize things that don’t have cursed energy, such as buildings, through the residue and the flow of the cursed energy. On the other hand, if he doesn’t wear the blindfold, he will get tired easily, even though he is using the reverse cursed technique to keep his brain fresh. If ordinary people put on Gojo’s sunglasses, they won’t be able to see anything aside from pitch-blackness.

Well. Without delving deep into manga territory, we were never actually told why he always covers his eyes when he is not fighting. Many people will say because of six eyes and all but we don't have any official confirmation. The author did say that he has a reason for doing so and it's different from nanami's reason for covering his eyes. And so I believe we will eventually learn why he always had something on his eyes.

My theory is that he has some kind of special curse imbued on his blindfold which allows him to see ...it can be proved since his hair stand(get up) whenever he wears that blindfold and when he removes the blindfold his hair falls and that is just the effect of the curse...plus he only wears it when he is working it is shown that normally he wears glasses and when he uses domain expansion he has to use large amount of curse energy so he removes the blindfold
