Which is better in your opinion: One Piece's pre-time-skip or its post-time skip

It's hard to win an argument against smart people, but impossible to win an argument against dumb ones.

Both are masterpieces and 10/10s to me. I don't wanna compare since both have their respective strengths and lows.

I put on hold after time-skip. The pacing feels awful compared to the manga and I say that as someone who loved One Piece as a kid. In fact, it was my first non-Pokémon anime. Toei Animation’s quality dropped especially because they do 1 episode per week so it felt really tiring getting through the Cake Island arc in particular, even though I loved the story in the manga.

Honestly Pre Time Skip is better. I enjoy the Post Time Skip Arcs more (Except for Fishman Island) But I think that the Pre Time Skip has better character development. Also we get to see the Straw Hats together more. I haven't seen the whole Crew together since Punk Hazard. Also the Straw Hats are evenly distributed throughout the Arcs more that Post Time Skip.

I prefer post timeskip because the story arcs are better and all the characters design is top notch but pre timeskip is pure nostalgia and nothing else

Nothing will compete with the hype and build-up of marineford so obviously pre-time skip.

I Love The Post-T-S It Has Great Animation, Great Story, Great Arcs And Its Now Less Boring Compare To Pre-T-S.
But I Prefer The Pre-T-S Cause It's The Reason I Started Loving One Piece ( Arlong Park Arc is One Of my Favorite Arcs ) The Animation Is Less Than Post-T-S But Its Way Funnier And It's More Dramatic.

One Piece is a masterpiece as a whole. Regardless, it is true that the anime has awful pacing post-time skip.
Despite that, each half has different objetives. The first one is about The Strawhats meating the world, so it's mostly focused on character development. Whereas, the New World half is more focused on the world meating The Strawhats and how they can change it.
So it becomes in a matter of personal preference, there isn't something as a 'better or worse part'.

If u are talking about anime, you can make a case for pre timeskip imo. For me, nothing in the pretimeskip era comes close to Wholecake peaks

The best arc remains Enies Lobby and Marineford so far, but I really dislike Nami`s early arc in the series. The post time skip arc is more consistant so I would pick that.

Pre-TS is objectively better than post-TS in basically every sector including pacing, animation, storytelling, and character progression. Post-TS One Piece has its moments but it's not as enthralling because Oda has this weird habit of stretching out good ideas until they get tiring. Literally every post-TS arc could be cut down by half without the plot being heavily affected.
