| We know that Trixie is in the Replicant Registration database and has some superhuman physical abilities. But, when she is shot, we see her right eye roll back to the point where I believe we would see a replicant's brand. What do you think Watanabe meant to convey by not showing us a brand? Was the eye simply not rolled far enough back? Does not showing it tell us that replicants are very much human at the moment of death? Is Trixie, a 2021 vintage series 8, unbranded for some reason? Or could she be a human registered in the Replicant database? |
