| Does anyone have an idea of how many episodes this will go for? I assume it will be a full 24 like most seasons of Major, but I was hoping on the small chance it went to 36. |

| Well if its 24~25 we definitively get a season 3 of major 2nd because at the state of things, plus the fact: that is probably enough for another season alone and its development. |
| No idea, but this season definitely should break the norm of previous Major seasons and go longer than 2 cour OR, have a new season that continues the Junior High story. Leaning more to just continuing this show directly for another cour atleast. |

| Looks like we will have last episode this week. So my impossible hopes is that at the end of episode 25 they reveal that we will have Season 3, it will start at this winter, at same TV channel and same time slot. More realistic hopes that we will get 3rd Season and it will be at upcoming spring season. But time will tell what will happen with Major Anime adaptation. |

Each season has roughly adapted 10 volumes of the manga so far. I don’t think we’ll be getting a third season anytime soon considering that the 21st volume has just been released. That being said, the franchise is pretty popular in Japan so I think there will be a continuation. I’d expect a third season to be announced for Winter 2022. Also, judging by the synopsis of the 21st volume, if Google Translator hasn’t betrayed me, Toshi will become Fuurin’s coach so we will definitely get another middle school arc. I think Toshi will teach Hikaru a lesson through the sport they both love and with the team that he looked down upon. I’m excited!
