| This was quite a dark episode which I was definitely not expecting! I wonder what became of the town where the flowers was luring people in because it looked like it was starting to invade the town when Elaina left. Also felt so heartbroken for Nino and Emil… Nino clearly has a horrible life but I can’t imagine the pain it will cause Emil when he eventually realises what his father is doing to her |

| God damn it, I won't be able to sleep well tonight. It never stopped at giving me uncanny feelings from the start to the end of the episode. Loved it anw |

| I dunno this anime... the idea is intriguing but, it's pretty clearly ripping off a lot of its ideas from Kino's Journey. With the walled countries, and how she only stays for a few days in each country. The melancholy themes and distrustful people, especially the slavery... it all copies Kino's Journey too closely. The mc girl is cute, but it leans way too much on cgi for all its backgrounds and most of the world. It's completely generic looking fantasy shlock most of it, some of the green fields and blue sky are just lazy and look like they were ripped from a 20 year old fantasy game. Interiors and food look colorful and bright, but everything is too perfect and computery looking. Of course the new Kino's Journey is also very computery looking but it's better written than this. |
| nice little bleakly jagged bite to that one, starting to see a theme here. visuals feel to have improved a bit as well. the whole aesthetic has me gripped |
