So i watched ep. 1 and the comedy and cute scenes are great but one thing bothers the hell outta me

WHERE IS THE REALISM?

So MC goes to her new job and the first thing she gets to do is LEARN HARDSKILLS like wtf?!
If shes an art designer/artist she should be familiar with 3d programs;
just imagine this equivalent: you take a job as a salesman and you have no clue what Excel is and the first few weeks you not only not do any work, cause your learning Excel, you also take productivity off your team member because they have to explain you shit...
that is beyond unrealistic
I dont know if its also like that in the manga or if its anime original but the guy who came up with it seems to have never seen an office enviorment.

Also about the picknick in the middle of work hours, I also call that bullshit unless your sitting in silicon valley with a 300k yearly paycheck and employer who had to bent over to hire you

It's actually surprising, but shit like this happens all the time. Either recruters don't know what they're recruting you for, or company is not telling whole truth. For example you get scouted for cloud-native project, only to learn it's a piece of legacy junk that you will have to migrate to cloud. Also it's not quite clear whether she's regular, or just intern - as an intern you learn a fuckton of new things (at least that was the case for me).

As for picknick in work hours, well, we don't do pickincks, but it's quite common to take 30min break during day for coffe or some small talk.

Have YOU ever been in an office environment? Training is a thing, and it's quite common to join a company and not be familiar with the specific program they use and thus they train you for it, heck it's often listed in hiring listings that 'training will be provided' this is very common and I love that the first response also said it's realistic.

Also interviews with people working the game industry have said the show is for the most part very realistic and the only unrealistic part is that they're all girls.

It's normal in Japan to train new employees.

It doesn't matter if she knew how to use a certain program since every company uses their own selection of programs, so instead of hoping that future employees know how to use their programs, it's better to hire someone with potential and train her.

They probably hired her because of her art portfolio, so it doesn't matter if she had formal education or not.

I think that she wanted to be a character designer, not necessarily modeling 3D characters, but drawing characters.

It's very realistic and a good watch if you want to get an idea of how the industry works. They even show the programmers crunching.

Nice! It's so funny. I enjoyed playing papa's mocharia io. The graphics and animations are colorful and cute, and the sound effects add to the fun atmosphere of the game.
