I want more details, why computer guy locked them in, why the act, what's the relation of gangster guy with the rest, many plot holes :(

The whole thing was set up to select capable people. I'm about halfway through stage 2 and it hasn't been revealed yet or I missed it as I don't know Chinese well.

Computer guy wanted the formula for the immortality drug all to himself. The formula was saved on the computer in the main control centre so by locking himself in, nobody but he could access it. It's obvious why he wanted it as it would be worth a ton of money.

Gangster guy knew Tracey from his gang activity. He had seen her but not interacted with her. Over the course of stage 1 he gets closes to the MC and Su but after stage 1, they don't see each other for three years. During the timeskip, everyone went their own way. I think he just lived off the money he got for dealing with the monsters (490 million). BTW MC got 560 million for clearing the stage and everyone else got nothing I think.

I don't think there are major plot holes it's just a very long story and the anime only covers the beginning.

Thank you, I really appreciate you writing this XD Damnnnnn Mr Ishigaki, no wonder you looked so evil in the opening XD Mr. Ding survived, only to betray and die? I really liked that guy T_T I want to see more Ning Yuan X Su Jing, (Season 1 done an amazing job so far) and more He Zhiyang, they are the BEST!

I want to keep seeing the story so much. Were the savages really actors? some of them were killed too lol I'm really curious. From the opening, it looks like more of the savages would be infected with the virus and He Zhiyang would eventually battle them in their escape.

ANOTHER 12 EPISODE WOULD DO JUSTICE, I see a lotta good material to cover !!!! The story is just at the beginning and there is still so much going on !!!!

I don't think any of the savages really died because what actor would sacrifice his life for a gig? He Zhiyang fought them but I think most was off screen. There's also lots of MC and Su in stage 2 (which takes place on a ship). Basically, Su is kidnapped while she goes to fetch their engagement ring but then seems to have made some sort of deal with the kidnappers aka the organisers (I assume to protect MC).

It is a really great story, so much that I actually think of learning Chinese properly

Evan didn't agree with the research they did and killed everyone with a weapon that google translate calls "pulls oscillator" (basically it kills with sound). Meanwhile, computer guy turned out to be the evil one and barricaded himself in the operations centre planning to kill everyone with the pulse oscillator. However, Evan knew of a way to put the operation centre under high electricity in case it was ever taken over. Thus computer guy died but called for help from the outside world before.

The group then leaves Evan behind and attempts to go to the port. However, they get attacked by a giant octopus when trying to use boats to get to the port. Basketball guy dies. Gangster guy gets the best action scenes as always and fights off the octopus, leaving him with a broken rib. He warns MC about the policewoman before he finally sacrifices himself to finish off the octopus (I don't think he died though as no death announcement).

The last part of the escape is a dive and fat guy dies when he betrays the group. MC and Su suddenly decide to get married and then get separated from Andre and policewoman.

As they get out of the cave system, the one-eyed professor and some other people have arrived on the island. Turned out policewoman was in fact a drug baroness. She has a sad backstory of her and her sister being kidnapped and married off. Her husband was then killed by Andre, although she seemed grateful about it.

Andre who turned out to be the police man is killed by a handsome blonde guy named Arthur (no death announcement though). In turn, MC kills Arthur and some other dude and with this, concludes the game they were in.

In the end, gangster guy and Andre survived and were brought to some sort of hospital. Some dude tells the group that everything on the island was fake (professor seemed to have been in it from the start). It was a game that served as selection process. EVERYTHING WAS FAKE, even the savages were just actors. Expect for the group members who died, they are really dead.

This is about one third through the story.

How do you find the story I tried looking for it but only found manga all the way to ch 187 unless there is light novel
