"SIU: If you get to know her, Lahel (Rachel), in fact, is a really charming character, haha’.
SIU once wrote that Rachel was his favourite character of the Tower of God story.

So, it is an open secret that SIU likes Rachel for some reason. Which is something I do not understand, so I want you to share your opinion.

-Why does SIU like Rachel? (If you agree with that statement. If you do not agree, do prove your point of view).
-What is your opinion on one of the most hated female characters in Tower of God?
-What is going to happen to her in the future chapters?
-Anything you would like to share about her.

Tbh baam don't really care about rachel at this piont. The only thing baam is curious about is about his past and how rachel knew about it. I don't think so that he i going to be baited.

How about
Is not it enough of a reason for Bam to chase Rachel? I do not think Jahad will ever opt to such nonsense, but literally anyone in his army can do it.

For me, Rachel is an ordinary person with a dream bigger than she can achieve with her own power. We have seen Bam's journey all this time, but we are more closer to Rachel's story if we are in her perspective. Rachel wants to embark on a journey for her dream, and she's trying to tear off the shackle that bounds her, yet Bam chased after her. It was actually Bam who didnt make sense in the 1st season, still there are some missing past of them that we havent seen which could've been really important. Also Rachel isn't exactly blessed and talented like Bam, and most of us couldnt too, so she has to struggle through to reach her goal. I sympathized with that side of her. She has to gather resources, play dirty tricks, tells lies, flip sides. We've seen people did these in the tower to survive, so Rachel shouldn't be an exception. We havent seen her hangout happily with someone, so readers think she's despicable. I think she's just as lonely and vulnerable as everyone else, and no one offer her a hand at first, so she took the bad one when she got into the tower.

You make a lot of good points. And yes I agree with you. It all changes when we change our perspective. If we look closer, each character has their own motive, reason and resolve to do the things that they can within their power.

As a general audience we feel more sympathetic towards the MC and we as humans are in likeness towards unthinkable powers/intellect when a character portrays it. If we think about it, we as an audience are more like Rachel(or you can also say Shibusu), that's the reality.

I believe we should be more open to the story and enjoy it as we perceive.

I'm not sure how I feel about Rachel. she's obviously a big time back stabber, but there are so many questions about her that I want to ask.

1) she is from outside the tower, like Bam, so that makes her an irregular. furthermore,

2) she would visit bam, but from where? did she come from above, where the light shown through the cracks where the large stone was placed that Bam couldn't lift? Does that mean she was part of the group imprisoning him there?

3) Excluding the floor of the test, it seems Rachel has a lot less blood on her hands than Bam, so maybe she is a better person? I mean, she is the only one among them with and actual goal as well. That's one thing I hate about Bam, he is such an aimless guy. And while he has
, he doesnt appear to have any goals beyond short term revenge and rescue.
4) Rachel's goal sounds nice, but it would be nice to know her other intentions as well.

another conundrum for me is why hasn't Rachel seen the sky and stars if
Also, how are there even rumours about the sky and stars, if

I have never thought about it, great, more questions, thanks.

Hopefully, SIU gives us more answers. So far, there are only questions, lol.

She states that she's sick of that dark world, and in the first episode they were running on a narrow gap between 2 cliffs. That place is still a mystery, is it inside the cave where they trapped Bam, or is it outside unknown to us? We can assume something is happening on Rachel's side when he met Bam in that pit. A long time has passed since Urek became an irregular, and probably time passed in the outside of the tower too. We also have to count on the place where Urek used to live, since Urek might come from an open land, a countryside, or mountains, and Rachel might come from a more closed place. But there was this intriguing theory about Rachel. I'll let you read on ur own https://amp.reddit.com/r/TowerofGod/comments/8s87mj/the_world_above_the_cave_where_bam_was_kept/

For now i think Bam's goal was to know more about his past self, since so many people put much expectations onto him but he really hasnt live that long in the tower. He also aim to climb the tower to get stronger so he could be by his friends side. But this is such a fleeting goal so i hope he finds more reasons than these.

Actually I understand bam for being possessive with Rachel in the first season. He doesn't know anyone except Rachel. Rachel become his main purpose in entering the tower but now that he see that there are people who cares for him more than Rachel, they change bam's purpose.

And I understand SUI for liking Rachel. Just like any other characters in the story, Rachel's purpose was clearly stated in the first season and Bam chasing her is being a hindrance. Maybe SUI sees Rachel as the most realistic character in the story. It is really a human nature to use other people in chasing their dreams and being insecure to someone who they thinks have more ability in chasing their dreams first.

But don't be deceived I said that I understand SUI and Bam liking Rachel but I don't like her srsly. Even if she justifies all the wrong doings she did on the story with a backstory, I can never redeemed her in my most hated character list.

This is coming from someone who doesn't like or hate Rachel

Rachel isn't "that" bad. SIU tried to make us understand that all that she did was because she didn't have the power or was "ordinary" while Baam was a hero
Rachel is still a human and he feels that we can relate to her somehow. We know what drives her actions. If you look at what she did at a different point of view other than Bam she doesn't seem like a bad person. She also tries to help Baam in some way or some form. We know Rachel is apart of FUG and that FUG wants to make Bam a slayer candidate because he is an irregular knowing this if Baam did not get stronger he would have been killed. Anytime we see Rachel in the webtoon most people only have one impression of her that she is a b**** and dont look deeper into her actions. She represents many bad things about the human nature and people don't want to be reminded about those shortcomings, which they may share, in a show full of geniuses and superhumans. I think SIU has a idea for Rachel that has yet to be revealed and this will change our opinion of her as a whole. We have to remember she is the main female protagonist and this is a "shounen" manhwa she may make selfish thoughts and actions but this is because of her impressive drive to grow stronger as a whole.

Sorry if this doesn't make sense :*)
