i'm just wandering before i start it if it's a full adaptation or the story isn't complete thanks.

This adaptation stretches the first story arc/book of the original light novel series into its own stand-alone story, primarily by adding/changing story details and inserting filler and material from later novels to make it last 26 episodes.

This is contrast to the newer adaptation which strives remain more faithful to the source material, for better or for worse.
