I am currently re-reading this series and am right now at chapter 49.

Im just getting the feeling that his agenda will be somewhat similar to that of Defense Devil, where he is actually preparing for a bigger battle against demons or angels. Maybe by conquering all kingsdoms, he is trying to unite all humen and help them in the big war instead of having them fight as five separate forces.

What do you guys think abuot this?

It would kinda explain why he isnt intent on killing Rain, since he needs his help. If Reyguls plan was to just conquer the kingdoms including Sunkwool, then the best choice would be to kill Rain early.

I agree with you, raygul has many chances to kill rain but what he did is

1) retreat
2) let him go
3) asking rain to join him
4) let him go again

And we all know everytime rain fight him, rain became stronger everytime like super saiyan
