I love a well edited video; I was 14 the first time I touched and editing software and 11 years later I haven't stopped lol.

One of the steps in my career is to teach eventually, so I figured doing this little course would be fun.

This would be more of a theory class (disecting a vid that you edit or a reference, seeing how it flows, why it flows, what shot is used after what shot and why.) than teaching the software (there are three million vids on youtube about how to use final cut) so use whatever software you like best ( I personally use premier)

Obviously this would be centered around amv's to keep it anime.

What do you guys think?

So you're here to make AMVs great again?

I support the notion. Get the newbies to use lip syncing so my list of favorite AMVs will be more than just AMV Hell and my own videos.

Lesson 101 should be quality over quantity, and that only spending an hour and a half is a warning sign, not a barging right.

Yeah, AMV's are a lot of fun.

I think if you have an interest in editing, learning some tricks of the trade would pump people up. Let's kill this! I'll get the class going if we can get a 2nd person.

I'm good as far as lessons go.

I just want more people to use lip syncing since the extra effort can go a long way.

Lol, I'll be doing the tasks myself I think even if you know how to edit it'll be a good challenge.

Honestly, I think you will be disappointed, it is very difficult, but actually very cool!

Honestly think more people should make AMV's with a focus on storytelling instead of just basic flow/sync. That is the real skill that will help newbies in the long run.
