| There has been a theory going on for years now that the rebuild films are actually a sequel to the original evangelion series and that everything we have seen is just another loop that was reset after end of evangelion and i am one that has been a supporter for this theory. The Title for this fourth film is 3.0 + 1.0 doesn't anyone think this might be another clue? hinting of another attempt to reset to back in the beginning, these coincidence are just a little to much not to mean something. |

| Tbh the english title is really not what you should be interested in. The japanese title is interesting since it doesn't follow the pattern of the first three and uses some interesting stuff. Heck even the name of the series is written with different characters than it was in previous movies. And then there is also the repeat symbol from music notation |
| I pretty sure that even in the end of 3.0 + 1.0 we still won't know and can interpret to anyway too. That's the only way every theorist will be satisify even in japanese title it can be : + ll = ending (like the :Q in third movie) or :ll = repeat ambiguity is the ture clue of this title |

Why do people find it so hard to believe that 4 is considered a really unlucky number? Personally I assumed the title was because it was supposed to be released together with 3.0 or as a part of 3.0 but I am not quite sure. |
