I was curious about at what stage of condition would you replace a book for example if your book had chips at the bottom of the spine or little tears in the book when would you replace it. Please reply

Hm mostly it will depend on the price I can buy it for and how much I care about the series. I usually replace it if the cover is torn or if the spine is damaged. If it's one of my favorites I would try to buy it again even if the damage is minimal.
When I buy something new, I have to make sure it's in perfect condition before buying it, this could lead to me going to another shop to buy if I deemed the copies were slightly damaged. I care less about it if I'm buying it if I'm buying second-hand but I evaluate how worth the price reduction in exchange of a possibly damaged manga.

Well, I don’t buy books physical, only digital.
I already have quite the Assassin’s Creed collection and simply don’t have the space for a big book collection, seeing that my Manga (+ a few LN’s) is at 300+ books so far.
And digital books don’t deteriorate like physical books do, so there is that.
