| I don't like the way this thread is downplaying character designs. You see, pretty much all characters would be liked substantially less if they looked truly hideous and that makes sense. Viewers are more likely to care about and be engaged in a character if they look appealing. Of course by appealing I don't mean they have to look like supermodels but at least they should look serviceable, which all characters in major roles are with very few exceptions (Strongest Man Kurosawa comes to mind) |
