Gotta be tactical jrpgs for me, I don't like regular jrpgs but something about tactical jrpgs just rubs me the right way, fire emblem being my favourite franchise in gaming and the only reason I continue to buy those god awful Nintendo consoles, my love of tactical jrpgs started with final fantasy tactics, for some reason I felt really involved in the plot as on some maps it would unfold infront of you and you would have to make decisions in the spur of the moment to come out on top.

4X Turn Based Strategy (Civilization), Grand Strategy (Victoria 2/Crusader Kings 2), RTS (AOE2HD, Total War), Western (Deus Ex, KOTOR) and Japanese RPGs (Fire Emblem), city/management games (RimWorld, Cities Skylines) and have started to get into visual novels.
