| Where is chapter 154 or 155?? Why series end without seeing final battle? At least show them fight the main alien fleet then end it?? This is the most frustrating thing I seen plus two of those people who work with sekkai are still alive and gonna help good guys. Did it got cancel for poor scores? |
| Honestly Dolly Kill Kill seems to have had problems in its execution and that's not a mystery that scares me, although it is intriguing. The manga came out at the same time as Tenkuu Shinpan and Peephole, both from the same magazine (Manga Box), with similar themes and popularized that niche within the production company... So what caused this inconclusion? Unpopularity? Well, no. Did the series have to make room for other projects? Honestly, the only thing that has been published that is on the rise is Ingoshima, and even then it is a totally different (and decadent) franchise. Honestly, the only factor I can think of is the illustrator, Yuusuke Nomura. He, after Dolly, is working on Blue Lock, and the franchise will get an anime soon. Perhaps Yuusuke had plans in creating this story at the time of Dolly Kill Kill's conclusion and this spill into manga format happened. Anyway, if Dolly wants to leave a legacy, a good reputation, he will have to make a proper sequel, because with that he won't even gain prestige for long. It will be another forgotten work and considered "underground" in the end. |
