Poll: Amaama to Inazuma Chapter 56.6 Discussion
| Once again, this is a homebrew poll, since MAL doesn't do tenths. These "chapters" are Extras 2 and 3. Extra 1 was 56.5. Extra 2 finds Shinobu and Kotori having a "coming of age"(they just turned 20) party at the restaurant. A lot of alcohol related conversation ensues, with Tsumugi wishing she could join the rest of them in drinking. As usual, there is cooking, along with tasting and drinking of sake(and other stuff). Yagi and Shinobu appear to be still in "friendzone", but I can't help but ship them, they get along so well together! Extra 3 has Tsumugi just starting 6th grade, then goes into flashback mode a couple of months earlier. Her hair has gone into "big" mode again, and she's complaining about her curly hair to Kotori. Kotori suggests a flat iron to cure her hair ills. Inuzuka's mentioned by Kotori as "sensei", so Tsumugi docks her one "penalty point", and puts it on a sheet she carries(why?) so that when it's filled, Kotori owes her a parfait. Unfortunately, Kotori's moving out of town to the main Kanazawa restaurant, so Tsumugi gets sad. Kotori then calls "Inuzuka-san" for permission, which he easily agrees. Fast forward to the "present", Kotori first leaves, then it's Tsumugi's birthday. She gets a flat iron(we know from Ch.#56 it doesn't last), and a smartphone. She, of course, texts Kotori later, and then the big reveal- she thinks(at least at this time) of Kotori as a big sister, not as a mom. Don't know if there will be any more extras, but I hope so! Maybe after Tsumugi graduates? |

| OMG!!! Shinobu and Yagi are NOT in the friendzone anymore! Shinobu is working at his bar and cafe in her spare time. She is standing behind the bar with him, and they cook together like it is routine! She calls him Yagi-chan!!!!!! And the chapter ends with Shinobu and Yagi-chan talking about the passage of time, what things change and what remains the same. There is no longer any debate about friends-with-benifits or are-they-dating. The girls are legal adults now, and this relationship is legal too! This ship has sailed and it is CANON! |
