| Will this be just another pile of waste? Or will we actually get a plot that is possible to follow, likeable characters (unlikely) and decent acting? Is TG:re2 redeemable even before it started? |
| Thing is, even if it's a decent manga adaptation (Like Tokyo Ghoul :re), this whole anime is part 2, a continuation from Tokyo Ghoul MANGA story and since they destroyed part 1 adaptation with rushing, skipping and creating Tokyo Ghoul Root A, that is anime original, that does not exist in any shape or form in this story, you have a huge (80%) hole in story between Tokyo Ghoul season 1 and Tokyo Ghoul :re. For those who read manga, this is at least some what of a decent anime, for those who dont, they are screwed, because they either dont know half of the characters or half of the events that happened, the same way as you Shiro_shi :) |
| I'm going to predict it will be garbage, last season killed my soul so I don't expect crap from this season, though hopefully it surprises me and is at least decent. |

| I think it's pretty safe to say it's at least unwatchable for anime only people, and I don't feel like doing a whole research to be able to follow one anime, so this was an easy drop for me after seeing the preair. |

| Might end up being bad but like the other seasons, it'll probably still be enjoyable, so I'll enjoy watching it nonetheless. God forbid I mention the fact I enjoyed the previous seasons near manga readers though. |

| No it's not redeemable. Character-wise, the most they can accomplish is a bit of development on Kaneki. This season is confirmed 12 episodes, and whatever you saw of Rushima in the first few minutes of the first episode is the majority of the arc compressed, and it contained characterisation for at least half a dozen of side-characters. |
