Satire.

Introduction.

Satire is not an easy genre, especially not in the form of short stories. However, being able to criticize and ridicule through stories in a satiric way can be both entertaining and impactful.

Stories that apply:

  • Any English satire with a word count between 1000-7.500 words (short stories).
  • Reading up on the definition of satire and going through some examples of it won't hurt, as the genre isn't as accessible as it might seem at first.
  • Mentioning the issues you criticize with your satire might be needed in the case of criticizing a more localised and less globalised issue, so that people know what the story relates to when giving feedback.
