Corgi's Literature Club

Information

Introduction
Do you love writing, but do you often find yourself lacking in motivation? 
Do you love putting your creative talents to the test, but do you lack opportunities do so? 
Do you feel like you need constructive feedback, and a positive environment to work in? 
That's the kind of things this club is aiming to provide whomever joins it.




The rules are fairly simple:

This club contains threads with writing challenges, each one of them is aimed at challenging you to write something with a specific theme, and within the boundaries of specific rules.  
At any given time, you are allowed to submit (post) a story in these threads, for as long as they are within the specific rules for that particular challenge.
Additional challenges may be requested, but keep in mind that writing a story to fit a challenge is preferred over requesting a challenge to fit a story.
Feedback is a crucial part of a club like this, so don't be afraid to ask for it, and be nice enough to give feedback when asked for it in return. Do make sure to to keep it constructive, and keep in mind that there is a fine line between personal taste and actual quality.
Once enough stories have been posted for a specific challenge, polls to vote on which one is deemed to be the 'best' one of them may be started.



Some general things to keep in mind:

No plagiarism. It's okay to loosely base your stories on the work of others, but don't directly copy it. 
If you do base your work on other sources, make sure to credit them.
One of the most important parts of keeping feedback constructive is giving suggestions for actually improvement. If you think a story is lacking in certain aspects, say why you think so, and offer suggestions on how to improve it.

They're all Gungrave fanfics, but I've been well-known for being "fandom blind friendly." You don't need to know the source material to be able to read them. Also, I've lost some of the links to the awards up there because they're pretty old. The stories are still up at fanfiction.net though.

Welcome.

The club has yet to become active (or so I hope), so you're early, not late. A fair amount of people here (myself included) have English as a second language, so that shouldn't be an issue.

As for the latter, you've got me curious. What kind of awards did you manage to get (and in what contest)? (It's not considered bragging if you're asked about it.)

I don't know whether this club is still active or not, but I've just joined. Looking forward to joining the challenges!

Don't look down on me because I have English as second language and write mostly fanfics. I've earned a lot of awards for my fanfics from those who don't know the fandom.

I've personally put this on hold for a bit, due to suddenly being active in more clubs than planned, and due to getting less feedback than expected and therefore being unsure of the actual amount of people that would contribute, rather than the amount of people whom just join and say they will without ever doing so.
