what is the closest fantasy novel to this manga?

non light novel please. westren novels are acceptable.

is there anything similar to nausicaa in tems of characters and world building?
i mean nausicaa have great world building and lots of different yet intersting characters. most of them are morraly grey. there is no good and eveil concept. all characters have good and evil just like in real world. excpet for few characters.

Frank Herbert's Dune might be something you are looking for. Nausicaa draws a lot of ideas and inspiration from Dune.

I'd like to recommend the graphic novel Vattu, by Evan Dahm. Great worldbuilding, very creatively different from normal fantasy just like Nausicaa. It's about a child Vattu, who was born in a tribal society, and comes into contact with a much more advanced society. Funnily they are drawn in about the same timespan, about 12 years.

It's on his website called rice-boy (where his other works Rice Boy and Order of Tales are, also very good reads), and rerelased on Webtoon (less up-to-date, but look there for discussion in comments). It's not finished, but almost; Dahm estimates around September.
