| My mother loves travelling, so I got lucky to start quite early. Germany (live there), France, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein(!), Italy, Spain, Sweden, Iceland, Greece, Cyprus, UK Outside of Europe: Bahamas, Hawaii, Bolivia, Peru, Galapagos, Japan, Egypt, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, next year Cambodia and probably one or some of the neighbouring countries. Culture shocks... Well, Africa was expected to be poor for example, so it wasn't a shock. I actually don't like the general mentality in Southern Europe that much and once in a while people had issues with my dog. In Egypt it was annoying how many people walk up and want to sell shit or staight up ask for money or some actually touched my hair because it's relatively long and blond, although you'd think they've seen a few blond tourists before. In Kenya there were also people selling stuff to tourists, but they were quite nice and before on the plane they handed out socks to the passengers. My brother could use them as currency for carvings and some nice seashells. |
