Attack on Titan
| This is probably going to be a very unpopular opinion, but while watching this season I felt like there was a whole lot of nothing go on. Sure, there were loads of amazing action scenes and fights, however, I feel like there was very little progression story-wise. I mean other than very few hints this season really didn't offer much in terms of story progression it felt really slow compared to the first season where a lot happened. Again, this will probably be a very unpopular opinion but I wanted to see if anyone felt the way I did about this season. |
| Its funny how opinions differ. Even though I liked the first season, I thought that beside the first 3 eps and all the action, nothing much has happened. I mean we went from years passing between ep 3 and 4 and then two arcs lasting for half a season each. Majority of those arcs taking place in single day. While in the second season, even though it was only half in length, I thought there were more new places to see, more interesting character development, more varied moods and scenes, lore expansion, big reveals etc. All around, I felt more invested in the second season than the first. |
| While there were quite a few good moments, I watched it while it was airing and I have to say the first 3-4 episodes felt quite empty at that time. |
