| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Solid 4-koma. Even though it was a light comical work, there was a tiny bit of sadness and melancholy seeping in through the cracks. Probably because of the personal, intimate feeling that the manga had, being heavily based on the author's life. With that said, there were some relatively heavy issues thrown in nonchalantly - the gay brother, the restaurant couple having a trouble getting a child, the divorce of her sister, poor living conditions and so on. The gags were a hit or miss were also a hit or miss, with the lack of the characters producing comedy being apparent. Liked the art and the story that the author was trying to tell, but the manga would've been better if it wasn't torn between light drama, an autobiographical retelling and pet gags, or at least if it had a different format than 4-koma.
