what's everyone's favourite violin, cello (both) piece?
Post a link or a vid if you can ^_^

Well, here's me:
==> Dvorak: Humoresque No.7
Slow, kind of dreamy tune with a beautiful climax.

I still haven't researched enough music to be able to say that I actually know this genre very well, but so far I'm in love with

-> Left Hand Song, sang by one of my favorite artists, Regina Spektor; the violin is played by Joshua Bell. It's not an instrumental piece, but I think it's so amazing, and the violin is really intense. You can listen to it here

-> and also Sarabande, composed by Handel, which you can listen to in here. It's a really dramatic piece, and probably my favorite.

I'm partial to Schubert's Andante con moto from Trio op. 100, because my sister and I are playing it, along with a friend that's been a pianist for nearly 50 years. I envy my sister for getting to play that cello part. It's such a beautiful, expressive piece, and not all that well-known.

A live performance of it is here.

This is a symphony piece rather than a solo piece, but Ralph Vaughn William's Tallis Fantasia is the most beautiful sound in the world. Seconded by his Lark Ascending and Dvorak's Serenade for Strings.
