Worth it?

Is this worth watching? Of CLAMP's anime, I've only watched Cardcaptor Sakura, and I'm wondering if this adds to the story or is just a pointless cash-grab - or if I'll need to watch other anime to understand what's going on.

The tsubasa series is a huge classic and a great one at that. The only thing that's depressing about it, is that it's "incomplete"... :(

Tsubasa Reservoir was okay-ish, fairly enjoyable at first. But then it becomes terrible you might as well just read the manga.

You see, after a certain point, the anime doesn't follow the same plot with the manga, nothing particulary interesting after that. Pretty disappointing. 2nd season was meh for the most part.

Even worse, the OVA "Tsubasa: Shunraiki" doesn't follow the anime at all which will make you go "wtf is going on here" because, as you might guess, follows the manga instead.

It's recommended to check out xxxHOLiC as well because they're heavily connected with each other.

tl;dr no it's not worth it, just read the manga, read xxxHOLiC as well if you could

I have watched 2 early episodes of this anime, & they were not that good. The writing was pretty messy, especially in episode 2(I actually laughed because of it). The musical score was pretty good though, if you are not bored with Kajiura's type of music that is. Overall, it was not a bad anime & some people might like it. Will it be worth your time? Not sure.
