After discovering my library had a much more extensive library of manga than I expected, I was quickly met with disappointment that such big titles like Liar Game was not being carried. I don't really buy books because I tend to read something once and never touch it again.

My questions are:
1) Are there manga rental services?
2) Is it easier to rent/buy manga via e-book?
3) Is it better to buy manga or is there a way to save money and rent or get for free somehow?

I've only bought Spice and Wolf novels. Worth it, because I enjoy it a lot.
With most manga I'm the same like you; read it once and never touch it again.
It's just not worth it paying so much for a full manga when you read it once.

Just look for you manga on sites like Kissmanga, MangaHere etc
They have basically every manga except for the really obscure ones.
A stupid thread deserves a stupid answer!

I haven't read much Manga, but I own some. I always buy it in physical form, as I'm not into reading Manga online.

Although, someday I may read some unlicensed stuff online, if I'm sure it'll never get licensed in my country.

I've never heard of "Manga rental services."

Sometimes for e-books, such sites like Audible have situations where you can rent a book for a limited time and for a small fee. Wondered if there was a situation like that for manga. I'm not even sure there is one.

Honestly unless you wanna go through the trouble of having to check to see if the manga you want to read has even been officially translated yet i would just read for free online, i personally buy every series that i really enjoyed because i like collecting manga but its honestly just not worth being part of the "pirating manga is wrong!" because you can do both and not feel like you are stealing work
