System Message Upon Making a Database Submission

Could the system send a message whenever I make a submission to the database? Preferably with all the details of the submission.

Right now we only get notified when something is approved or denied, but since submissions can take months to process it'd be nice to know what's still in limbo. Also, I forget if I'm making a duplicate submission of something I've already submitted, so it'd be great to have a way to check.

i added some episodes for Genshi Shounen Ryuu but after i pressed submit i got no confirmation whatsoever
