| As you enter through one of many arch-ways that line the bottom floor, you are greeted with a massive room. Along the walls, between each arch that were entrances, were pools of black liquid that was coming from small falls of the same liquid. These falls originate from the hands of many statues placed within the basin. This floor was massive and wide. The base of the tower. And its entrance grand. The floors are rough, yet smooth black. Red lines run decoratively along the floor. The statues would hold the images of something that looked truly powerful. A triple helix stair case would spiral down to the floor. In the center of the room are three statues of another powerful being, one that looked female. The statues in the center are back to back, facing outwards and are each holding a ball of energy. Though this energy was real, and it was vile. An energy that can corrupt anything. Pure unbridled darkness. The statues along the walls almost seem to be altars, with a large glowing Kaaos Shard in the center of each one. The Statues in the center are most certainly altars of some kind. An inscription on each of the three center monuments is written in strange glyphs. To any who could read Ethereal Script, it would read: "Arxuum Aratta, Daar Lektsha Laaos! Throaan Jaarnex Ven Tor' Hestraan." Which translates to: "Hail Aratta, who makes us pure! Come to cleanse us from the fires of our destruction." The entire room seems clear of hostiles. |

Even if, hell froze over - it is not of Leviathan..." Teru switched to his native tongue; "Hail Aratta... So ever lovely." Teru would've approached the statue, his perception was fixed on the Kaaos shards. While he also found a professional interest into the architecture of the place, the statues would've been more interesting. Teru continued in his native tongue: "My queen, you're the one running this war? What a lovely conquest it has been. Wars are fought with weapons. And the simplicity of the ones created of pure darkness -- mhmm.. Could say I even admire the work. It is such of a shame that I need to work on weapons to destroy them." Teru was speaking to himself but he was still in awe before the statue. The state of this tower had changed his outlook on the severity of the war. Teru's intrigue was fixated on the Kaaos shards on each of the statues. He had deemed that the orbs were probably powered by these shards. He approached one cautiously. If nothing happened; just out of an academic curiosity - he'd almost let the tip of his scythe touch the orb of the female statue before backing off. He'd try to use the long experience he has in making weapons, of all sorts; whether they were stationary or not to analyze and appraise. His interest was in, if the kaaos shard and the orb were intertwined. Or if the kaaos shard was just left there as a tribute. It could've been also a part of a grandeur scheme that would be a deadly trap. And either way, he was very intrigued by the mastery of craftsmanship that was used in making of the statue. If he'd deemed that it'd be highly unlikely that the kaaos shard was part of a trap, he'd probably try to consume, unless it was something else than voidfire. However, if he'd deemed a possibility that there'd be a trap -- he'd probably start to investigate on the possible mechanism, to possibly steal the design for his own work. |

| If Teru had any skill in identifying magic traces, the Kaaos Shard was directly bound to the liquid pools. The corrupt orbs seemed to be bound to the Dark Domain, her plane. Their plane. If he did absorb one, spawn would begin forming from the pools. Brutes, Reapers, and Razors would emerge from that pool. It seemed that it was a spawning pit. A bottomless depth of darkness in liquid form. A place of brith for spawn. And seeing as you are a demon, they would look at you and let out a furious roar, charging at you with a fury. The spawn's numbers would level out at 10 Brutes, 20 Reapers, and 30 Razors. If he did absorb them, he would gain 200 XP. But have to fight all that. |

Edward Pherae  Field Timer:0/10 After being so close to getting out of control again, he felt a little nervous, but having Suzanne close helped him feel more calm. By the time they entered the tower, he was almost back to normal. Before they could move any further he hugged Suzanne for a few moments and whispered to her "Thank you". When they separated, he took a deep breath and started looking around, everything was black and red, "Now then, let's go" he said as he began to walk around with Suzanne. |

His own understanding of it was more or less, that it should disarm the thing - rather the opposite occurred. When he noticed this and saw the group of curious humans entering as well he gave out one resolute shout: "RUN!" The kaaos would energize Teru but he was now in the fight of a lifetime. His eyes focused on the group of emerging spawn, he'd try to hit on emerging razors before they could act to wipe them out before there'd be a danger. However he knew that this was going to be a hard fight. |

 Suzanne Aldron •VIT: 10 •XRA: 10 •STR: 25 •WILL: 10 •END: 15 •SPD: 13 •AGI: 17 •ACC:10 Kinetics: Ready(0/4) Suzanne gladly accepted the warmth of Edward's hug, and hugged him back tightly upon hearing his words. "You're welcome! And thank you too, hero!" She giggled at her own words and let go of Edward, entering the tower alongside him. It was dark, as expected of such a place, but it also had an imponent air to it, with shades of red present all around. Fountains of black sludge were also present, and it didn't seem like any good would come out of touching that. This was confirmed not much time after, when a man inside the room touched something, and the black sludge took the form of Spawns, their numbers increasing rapidly. Despite his warning, Suzanne entered the tower ready to fight, and she was quite confident due to having Edward by her side. Stepping forward, she picked the lance on her back, ready to test it out on a fight, and started hacking away at the emerging Spawn, taking care to not hit the supposedly present cores since she didn't know that these Spawn were empty. She'd aim to cut off the Reaper's necks, since they died easily after a single beheading, while trying her best to avoid being struck. |
Edward Pherae Field Timer:1/10 He couldn't even smile back at her, because some idiot possibly triggered a trap, and was now running away from a rather large group of spawn. He pulled the idiot and Suzanne back and away from the crowd as he pulled out his daggers, making them into the cutting discs and threw them towards the mass coming for them. It worked as a blender and chopped off every single one of them with great speed, not giving a damn about the possible explotions, since it would only make the process faster. Edward made sure that not even one of the attackers managed to get close to to them, dismembering all of the creatures. |
| Horde: Razors: 26 Reapers: 19 Brutes: 10 As Teru killed a few razors, he was forced to flee. Which he then met two other people. Suzanne cut off a Reaper's head, and to her likely surprise, It didnt grow back, nor did the old head evaporate. But unfortunately, the spawn were done emerging by the time Suzanne went into action. So she only lobbed off its head. And it began flailing around wildly before collapsing lifelessly. Neither its decapitated head nor body vaporized. She had managed to leave a corpse behind of a shadow spawn. Then they both were pulled back, and Edward diced them all up. Unlike Suzanne who Permanently killed that Reaper, these spawn, did not die. They took some damage, but they did not die. Unlike most spawn, their bodies rejoined together, much like a Wraith would however, their bodies giving off a black Vapor. |

Either way he had now grouped up with Edward and Suzanne. His scythe blazed into black flames with a oily hue of green and purple. "Disarming that trap had an opposite effect. Fighting in the only option..." Teru's eyes darted between the spawn."They lack a core completely. It is possible that either burning is the only option or the remaining cores needs to be devoured before they'll stop fighting." Teru kept analyzing the battlefield before setting up a defensive line. He'd try use his vast reach and the heavy flaming weapon to push back any shadow-spawn that'd come. He wouldn't show any mercy in evicting them from this world in two pieces. |

Character Level: 2 •VIT: 2 •XRA: 3 •STR: 4 •WILL: 2 •END: 2 •SPD: 4 •AGI: 2 •ACC: 2 Zellia could hear it from inside, a large group of spawns. She was hesitant to enter in a blaze, with the possibility that there were just spawns roaming loudly, but she could tell that there were people fighting, she just knew it. She pulled out her dual blades and entered the battle. She saw the massive horde of Spawn, along with only 3 humans to fight them. Looks like you guys could use some help! What the game plan? Zellia saw that there were some smaller Spawn (razors) and she went for them first, weaving through their attacks with her speed. She then backed off and collected near the group so they could plan their attack. We need to get the reapers out of the way first, they're our biggest problem as long as you have legs. The brutes shouldn't be hard to avoid, and take out the razors when you can. We need to be a collective, so folllow each other and attack as one! Zellia felt a rush of energy as she spoke suggestions and commands to her allies. She needed to lead them to victory, and she didn't plan on dying now, so victory would be won. |

Suzanne Aldron •VIT: 10 •XRA: 10 •STR: 25 •WILL: 10 •END: 15 •SPD: 13 •AGI: 17 •ACC:10 Kinetics: Ready(1/4) Suzanne was pulled back as Edward threw his daggers forward, slicing some meat in the process, but their numbers seemed to be huge. Taking a fighting stance, she heard as the man explained that somehow these Spawns didn't have Cores and nodded back. One thing was poking her mind, though, which was the Reaper she killed: he didn't evaporate, and instead just became a normal corpse. [i]"Is it because of the tower, the lance or these strange Spawn?..."[/b] She didn't have much time to think it through, since not long after another person joined the fray, and seemed to be quite accostumed to giving orders; not that Suzanne cared, though, since her suggestions were quite on point. Now that she knew that there wouldn't be explosions, Suzanne could go in a bit more reckleslly. Suzanne would activate Kinetics and dash forward at full speed, slicing left and right while midair, and then use the wall to stop herself. From there, she'd jump towards another wall and keep doing this, trying to keep moving at all times to avoid retaliation. If she were to be grabbed midair, she'd try to cut off the limb holding her and then back off to where Edward was, taking some time to recompose herself. |
Edward Pherae Field Timer:2/10 His strategy of just chopping all off wasn't as effective, since most of the group avoided it or simply regenerated in time, his blades weren't fast enough to kill such a large group. So he made the blades go back to him and threw Void Edges to the nearest spawn, carefully avoiding Suzanne, the idiot, and the woman that acted as a leader for no apparent reason. If any spawn tried to attack him, he would just move out of the way, or ways of the attacks, and cut off whatever he had in range. |
| Horde Razors: 17 Living - 9 Dead - 4 Corpses Reapers: 14 Living - 1 Dead - 5 Corpses Brutes: 8 Living - 1 Dead - 1 Corpse - 1 Severely Wounded Aratta's Will is manifesting. Since Teru focused on Defense, the main enemy for him were the Brutes. And after several cleaves, even with the fire, he would manage to kill one. Its body Vaporizing into nothing as the ten Brutes solely focus their attack on him. After he backed off and joined with the group, the Brutes would back up a little towards the Statues of Aratta. The Statues reacted to this and the eyes in the statue they neared began glowing blue. Zellia rushed in with great speed and finesse, and cut up some of the Razors. When she returned to the group, she would feel a sudden pain on her thigh. It seems one of the Razors managed to nick her, and 5 small cuts from each finger. But no severe damage was done, although she did have minor bleeding. After looking back upon the Razors that she had cut apart, their halves and pieces all came back together without evaporating and merged back together. All except for three of them, which died. The rest seem to have taken some decent damage. Suzanne was reckless, and during her forward assualt, she managed to cut apart multiple spawn. A Brute as cleaved in half, and instead of regenerating or re-assembling like the others, it just collapsed and died. Its body not evaporating. 4 Razors who lost an arm and then were split down the middle did not regenerate either, nor evaporated. And the Reapers, which were 4 also, would lose their heads. They would flail wildly, hitting her in the waist as she passed, carving a small cut into her side. But they died soon afterwards, falling to the ground lifelessly, also not evaporating. Mid-flight, a Brute grabbed her by the leg as she passed it. On her pass, she had cut its chest, but not deep enough to cleave it through. It had swung you downwards, and then you cut its arm off, which would then not regenerate. It would recoil and roar loudly in pain as it wasnt able to regenerate its arm. It then roared at Suzanne in absolute rage as its arm laid on the ground. However, she did cut off the limb, but her momentum caused her to hit the ground. Hard. Causing damage. She would regroup with her squad having dealt some major damage to the enemy forces. However, she herself had also taken some good damage. Her waist was bleeding, again, and she had been slammed down on the ground with slightly less that Brute-Force. Edward stayed behind as the rally point and sent ranged attacks which managed to kill a grand total of a whopping three spawn. 2 Razors and a Reaper. They all evaporated. After the groups assault on them, the Spawns numbers were reduced, but they didnt care. The remaining 8 Brutes Rushed Teru. One jumped up and and would land where he is standing. If he didnt dodge it, he would be paste, and if he did, there were three different punches from each direction he could go waiting for him. He was a demon, and as such, they targeted him more than anyone else in the room. The Reapers would each try to pounce on Suzanne, each of their claws aimed directly for her waist, to cleave her in half. Their tail-spikes aimed at her belly-button. If one missed, its tail would lash out from behind her again to try and at least stab her like a thorn. The Razors set their sights on Zellia as they pick up their claws in an intimidating fashion and begin moving at a pace much faster than before. One even used its claws to launch itself in the air with a flip[ to land on her and impale her with its long claws. If she showed signs of attacking, they would lower their claws and spread their fingers, basically making a shield of their own Black Marrow. All 17 were on her at once, trying their best to overwhelm her. Edward was insignificant in the eyes of the spawn. These girls did more damage. They died first. |

Character Level: 2 •VIT: 2 •XRA: 3•STR: 4 •WILL: 2 •END: 2 •SPD: 4 •AGI: 2 •ACC: 2 Stat Boosts: 2 post remain Warp Jumps: 2 remain The group of humans was able to significantly reduce the number of enemies from since she entered, even if only the smaller targets were being eliminated. The rest of the group put in quite a bit of effort, for the most part at least. With glimpses to her sides while she was fighting herself she saw that a brute was taken down from the large group collapsing on one of the people. The other girl in the room was putting in her share as well, dashing from wall to wall slicing up the enemy, unfortunately getting caught up in one of their attacks, and getting beat up quite badly. She regrouped to the man standing still using ranged attacks, which weren't the most effective, but still helped a little. He seemed to be the human side base, which immediately made Zellia look for the spawn base. She wasn't aware of how the spawn spawned ((lol)), but she assumed that most fights had a area of origination for each side. Something that caught her eye was a blue glow from across the room, she was going to make sure the others were aware of it. While regrouping Zellia noticed her leg had been minorly cut, which made her more mad that her new clothes were ruined and that she would have to go buy new ones. Zellia didn't have much time to worry about that, as it seemed that Zellia's original target, the razors, had chosen her to be theirs. The swiftly made their way towards her, a whole horde of them, must have been at least 15. A razor swooped in to attack her, but she would roll slightly to the side and underneath the attack, and backslashed that razor from behind. As she went to take the horde head on she activated her Xera Charge, and headed in to attack the razors. They changed their tactics on the spot, making a shield of their claws, most likely to draw her in and then out number her. She knew that she wouldn't be able to cut through their claws with a weapon like this, so she changed her strategy too. Zellia got as close as possible, to the point where the razors would be able to attack her, and ported behind as many as she could, while turning. When she completed the teleport she would vertically slash all of the ones she was in range to hit, finishing her midair spin and attacking the open clawed ones from the front, out ranging them with her arm and sword point. If she was collectively jumped on she would have to use another teleport to get out of range, and regroup to where the rest of the party was near, if not she would run back to that spot. Hey, I saw something back there. It was glowing, I'm not too sure what it was, but looking at our situation glowing usually means bad. Can someone focus that, I'm going to help with the brutes! Zellia took just enough time to catch her breath from having full on sprinted during all of her attacks and get away. She knew that with her speed she would have a better time facing the brutes than the small razors, she hoped that the remained of them could be dealt with from the ranged weapon wielder. Zellia saw that the guy with the large scythe was in trouble, and knew that she couldn't port in to grab him and then port out, she had never done that before. She hoped that the guy was able to make his way out, so that they could tag team the brutes. |

This made the demon grind his teeth. "It is not a good sign that some leave bodies behind." Teru's outlook changed somewhere from the cold and calculative to lighthearted and crazy: "Looks bad?" He cackled in psychotic laughter. Teru looked at the brute's reorganizing into a charge towards him. "It is her.. Their goddess. Aratta The Queen of Corruption ..." Teru continued saying a few of Aratta's titles only known in demonic dialect; and his speech was like french for swearing - it was beautifully pronounced but undoubtedly it was anything nice. However anyone that could understand Teru's speech would know that he was more or less saying nice things of her - in a way a demon would. "... And how the grand design of this place goes - that was the only trap I did not want to meddle with. O' well. As much as I hate to do it - we'll might have to commit a regicide on an avatar or murder a champion of Aratta. If it was anything worse, we'd know. Because we'd all be dead a million times over in an eternal torment. Teru spoke the last part so cheerfully that it was hard to know, if he was being serious. As the brutes were coming back at him, he changed his strategy drastically, noticing how the shadow-spawn had priorities, Teru went into exploit it. He used his speed to dash towards Zellia -- He attempted to cut in large cleaves through the razors to free up some space between the ranks of his allies, while he himself had to pull back from the onslaught of the brutes. Teru would try to avoid getting surrounded at all cost from the Brutes. Trying to evade anything from the spawn that fixated on him and while using his speed, he focused on killing the spawn that was more interested on other members of the group. "Kyahaa! Those of you, deemed useless by the spawn - open your eyes. They are targeting us by priorities; exploit this. They are like a hivemind - their lack of individuality is killing them. Murder them!" For some reason, his voice and gaze was focused on Edward as he shouted this. |

Edward Pherae Field Timer:3/10 As he stood there, looking at how the spawn barely paid him any attention, and that Suzanne had a few cuts already. He stood in front of her and as the reapers pounced at her, he threw three Void Slashes at them, and since they were all midair, they wouldn't be able to avoid it, chopping all of their tails and some claws. And as they entered all on his field, he slammed them all to the ground with a violent gesture of his arm. After this, he would jump across them and chopped heads and limbs on his way through, wihile carefully avoiding any spawn attack as he moved. He would continue to jump around while avoiding the claws and chopping off any nearby limb. Hopefully, after a while, all of them would be dead and he would stand in the middle of a cloud of black vapor, ready for any other incoming attacks, including any unlikely survivor from his previous attacks. |

Suzanne Aldron •VIT: 10 •XRA: 10 •STR: 25 •WILL: 10 •END: 15 •SPD: 13 •AGI: 17 •ACC:10 Kinetics: Ready(2/4) Despite the recklessness, Suzanne's attack did manage to lower their numbers by a decent amount, although at the cost of some broken ribs and a bleeding. WURF! She'd stay back for a bit, readying herself as the Reapers went in to pounce at her, but Edward interfered with their attack using his Charge. Suzanne would keep at a ready position, holding the spear in front of her body and slicing any Reaper's that managed to get through Edward while they were midair, making quick slashes with her Charge. Once they were slammed down, she'd help in finishing them off, prioritizing any Spawns trying to harm Edward, before backing off to stop the bleeding by cutting a piece of cloth from the lower part of her shirt and tying it to the cut. |

Why Zellia slashed Vertically when Horizontally was the obviously better choice was probably a bad call of hers, as she slashed down on one razor, killing it. The Razors would by that point, turn and land at least one hit on her shoulder. Managing to get its five claws an inch into Zellia's shoulder. That would hurt. A lot. And the bleeding could be a major issue if it isnt helped. But the only reason they wouldnt cut the arm off is because Zellia would likely warp out of there. Zellia has sustained moderate wounds. She will take moderate bleeding damage for the remainder of the battle. Teru ignored the Brutes advance and instead went after the Razors. Your scythe would cleave through most of them, killing many instantly. And leaving only about six left alive. But because Teru had ignored them, the Brutes refocused their attack on Edward. Jumping up and trying to deliver a powerful strike from above, and running at them on the ground to deliver a devastating punch loaded with momentum. And considering their close proximity, Suzanne was also a target. The three reapers which Edward had stopped mid-air were already low on health and died after being cleaved by his slashes. The resyt of the Reapers would charge in and attack, five getting killed by Suzanne and not evaporating. And the rest by Edward, destroying them, and their bodies evaporated. Reapers elminated. The Remaining Razors went after Zellia again in her weakened state, hoping to land at least one more critical hit like that. |

He was humming a melody of some comedy movie as he was destroying the spawn. In a few moments, he realized there were only a few handful of spawn left, he changed his strategy completely. He started to dart past the corpses, cleaving them with his flaming scythe. If there was a stray isolated shadow spawn walking around, he'd cut through it horizontally before it'd be a problem. Teru was deeming at this point the corpses as a more grave threat than the spawns that were alive. |

After finishing the Reapers off, Suzanne would find herself being targeted by the remaining Brutes alongside Edward. She'd take one step closer to him, and say in an audible voice. "I'll speed us up; dash right." She'd prepare herself and dash right, expanding her Charge aura to also affect Edward so he'd also be able to dash outside their range, although using only 2x the speed since he was not accustomed to it. Suzanne would then stop and immediately dash back towards the Brute's exposed sides at max Charge effect, slashing through them at the abdomen, aiming to hit about three of them and end up at a far wall, not repeating the reckless strategy from before since she was hurt. |
Edward Pherae Field Timer:4/10 Suzanne charged at the brutes, quickly passing by them while cutting them off. Edward followed her example, and after getting out of the way of the incoming brutes' attacks, would dash through them, fast enough to not let them catch him, while he cut off as much as he could from all the remaining brutes. Jumping from one to another, while dismembering as much as he could. |

It got a deep cut into her shoulder, which made it quite difficult to hold her sword with. The pain was noticeable, and she knew that she would injure herself more as the fight went on. They needed to finish it fast. It seemed that the entire group changed up their strategy. The reapers were defeated eventually with the girl and guy tag teaming them; The guy Zellia was going to help fight the brutes instead changed to fight the smaller ones, which was probably smarter because 4 fast humans could take 8 brutes much easier than 2 people. The brutes targeted the girl guy duo anyways, so Zellia turned her focus to the razors, who were targeting her.... again. Didn't I kill all of you little shits?! Which is the one that cut my arm, I'll make sure to die the worst death of them all! Zellia knew that the spawn in general were structured to only attack, and that was their only objective. Using this to Zellia's advantage she waited until the last moment when all of the Razors were converging on her to warp again. She did the same thing as last time, but switched weapons before it to her large broad sword so that her horizontal slash from behind the razors would hit as many of them as possible. If any razors had been out of reach of her attack she would focus the closest ones to her, making sure not to overextend herself, especially her shoulder. If the majority of the Razors dodged her attack she would run as fast as possible back to the duo guy and girl fighting the brutes for support, hoping that they would already be done with their objectives. |

Considering how low their Health was, they all died. Brutes have been eliminated. Zellia by a favorable stirke of fortune, managed to cleave all the Razors in a single swipe. And they all died due to their lack of health. Razors have been eliminated. A powerful pulse of darkness begins surging through the tower. Every post for 5 Posts, reduce Light and Void Affiniy by 1 each, and raise Dark Affinity by 2. |

He somewhat felt the defiling nature of the corrupting darkness, but he wasn't really giving a damn about it. Though he did look up at the humans. "If you don't want to become defiled by darkness, I suggest leaving. I don't give a damn myself. It's probably not any less harmful than a few years of smoking... " Teru walked to the next statue like there hadn't been any fighting at all. He inspected the kaaos shard, and tried to see, if there was still a correlation with the darkness, and was there enough of darkness in the vicinity for the same event to re-occur or was it safe to extract by consuming the kaaos. If it was safe to extract, he'd simply consume the core. If it was somewhat unlikely the same thing was going to happen again, he'd consume it. If it seemed that the chance would somewhat exist but not as likely - he'd consume it. And, if it seemed that the situation was exactly the same or worse than what it was before consumption of the first core, he'd leave it alone. Teru's affinity to darkness was increased by 2. |

He would look around more and he would see twenty statues each with a beautiful kaaos shard within them, it wanted them it wanted the power more than anything, it wanted back to its prime right now that which the dread lord had given it was not enough this could maybe restore him back to his prime and even if not this would be possible to at least make it closer to his prime and if he went up further he may exceed his prime. He would look at Claire and said to her ''Woman i want you to at the same time absorb the core, we shall absorb all of them i want more power back.'' Claire would obey for now, although it did seem weird how there were spawn corpses here, but wait corpses this was weird why did they not turn into.. vapor. However Ourobaras showed no care it wanted to become stronger and for if it were to fight spawn meant it could simply fight more and more. As such it would walk up to one of the cores simultaneously together with Claire and they would absorb from them triggering they trap which was there. The moment when spawn began to form before his eyes out of the pool he would summon his Semblance while Claire summoned soul edge, and with speed they would head to kill the spawn, they set their weapons aflame and would begin slashing the spawn, they would for now be targeting reapers which they would attack by slashing their head off the most effective way to kill a reaper. 400 XP + Ourobaras and Claire's affinity to darkness was increased by 2. |

After that, the man who was inside the tower before they entered and a couple who just entered started to absorb the shards on the wall, triggering the rest of the traps. The air seemed to be more dense, and a rather malign presence could be felt; Suzanne could tell that staying there wouldn't do Edward any good. She'd grab Edward's hand with a worried expression. "Ed, we're going outside." Suzanne would try to drag Edward outside, and if his personality seemed to shift again, she'd use the rest of her Charge to drag him outside the tower by force. An evil smile appeared on his face as he saw both the idiot, and the arrogant prick, along with another woman absorb those crystals. His now yellow eyes shined with excitement, as he saw all that power. And this time, there was not an op asshole a thing that could stop him from acting now. He forcefully removed his hand from Suzanne's, which was a rather easy task, since she was quite hurt, so she couldn't apply that much strenght on him, even with her abilities. "Go away woman, little Ed wouldn't like to see you harmed" he said in a mocking tone to her, before laughing rather sinisterly. Then he would run towards the statues and absorbed all of the remaining cores (+3200 xp), then turn to the spawn appearing while yelling with an evil smile "Come on, come at me you mindless beasts!", with his daggers at the ready. Beleth Beleth and Rai walked into the massive room. Around the room he saw quite a few other people. In total, there were 3 women and 3 men and it seemed as if they had all been engaged in battle just recently. Occupying the room was also a total of thirteen statues, ten placed in a circle around the room, and three placed in the center. There was also a ominous black liquid that seemed to be coming from the ten statues placed along the walls. It also looked like most of those statues were holding a Kaaos shard of decent size. After his quick survey of the room, he shifted his attention back to the group of people. It seemed a few of them were still engaged in fighting against some spawn. He approached the two that were closest to him when he entered, a beautiful woman clad in black armor accompanied by a man who Beleth could only assume was a demon. The man's skin was a pure white, as was his hair, and he had two curved demon horns sprouting from his head. Hey. I'm not sure what exactly is happening here, but it looks like you guys are fighting some spawn. I'm sure you could use my help. I'm Beleth. Who are you guys? While he addressed the both of them as he spoke, he focused his gaze primarily on the woman. Her demon companion had a serious look on his face, and he was a bit intimidated by him. | The room suddenly got darker as the building shook. The eyes of the statues that had the cores began to glow red, and a large ebon-steel porticulous rose up and barricaded the exits before Suzanne, Rai, or Beleth could leave. There was no escape. Out of the 19 remaining spawning pits arose 60 spawn each. Totaling at 1140 shadow spawn in this room. So much, that they were everywhere. They surrounded everyone, and there was no room to run, dodge, or hide. An entire swarm of them. Ythima's will is manifesting. Swarm: Razors: 570 Alive Reapers: 380 Alive Brutes: 190 Alive The spawn would attack from all sides at once, and even if you jumped up to dodge, you would find yourself falling back into a sea of hostiles. This... This was a terrible mistake on your parts. Claire, Ourobaras, Bahamut, Edward, Suzanne, Zellia, Teru, Beleth, and Rai have been trapped inside with the swarm. Between him and the spawn was now a massive portcullis. He was about to start laughing when he realized that one of the demons actually had a similar appearance as he did. "Oh... Tch... Could've maybe sticked around." Teru pulled out a lungful of air before shouting: "I was quite sure that the other two or I could've carried our weight. But you let your madness and avarice lunge you to your downfall. It is quite beautiful how easily a human is ready to kill everyone dear to him. Now I wonder, since the covenants rules are: 'No angel nor Demon may attack or kill another or a human.' But also the opposite applies for humans doing this. I wonder, if I should drag you and you alone to the medical bay, if you even have a corpse to return to and report about your idiotic actions birthed from your lust of power. Would be lovely to see the punishment put in motion... Even better, I could also carry your betrothed with me but wait with her. Just enough that she'll be able to see the execution of you, so that you may carry your actions with you to the damnation knowing that she has watched... And you, two demons. If only you had known about the terrible trap you sprung." Teru started laughing. Considering the situation and how he was being helped in the initial situation, his words were too cruel. However on the flipside, they were also the truth. Though it was dressed up as an evil, the truth in his words was inescapable. And for this cruel truth, he might have reduced the morale of the fighters. Teru took out his MHPT and would begin to video the fight. After some time had passed, he'd have a sugary smile and he'd shout up in an innocent voice into the clash of combat: "I am sorry! It was the influence of dark that made me say the terrible truth. This kind of impressed Ourobaras that they had such a army, but that did not matter to him, as this place was basically a heaven to him, as it is full of power which he can absorb. It can return to its prime faster than it ever imagined and it can surpass its prime like this, it wanted more power, and now that it thought about this it also knew one thing it wanted to do after surpassing its prime KILL SHIROU. Claire would however think how this power was going to be helping her a lot, previously she had worked very hard to obtain power, yet now that she tried absorbing Kaaos how could she go back to the olden ways after all she has surpassed her growing rate of before exponentially, however she did mind about she was gonna have to work with Ourobaras the guy who had just let happen to her from Malice that bastard and not even that he had revived Malice in his original body, this man was gonna be a hassle for her, but he seems to know a good amount about this world and its ways of obtaining power so she can together with him obtain more power than what she could do alone. She would then however look at Edward he started laughing really weirdly which kind of weirded her out and made Ourobaras think he was becoming a little crazy, but it seemed the guy wanted to battle those spawn so why not let him do so. However what was clear though for Claire was that Ourobaras had a disliking to the guy, he seemed to have known him from somewhere which would probably result in bad things, and they weren't even allowed to hurt humans what could she do about this. Then the other guy who seemed to have a twin who just walked inside would be laughing as he was standing outside of the portcullis, he would be shouting some stuff and would then be laughing before taking out his MHPT and began to video. Ourobaras would immediatly say ''Hey little crazy bastard, the next time we meet i am gonna enjoy killing you for what you are doing, and so be it let there be fighting DEATH IS WHERE PLEASURE IS DESPAIR IS THE BEST THING TO FEEL NOW LETS DANCE THE BEAUTIFUL DANCE OF DEATH SPAWN TILL THE END OF OUR LIVES.'' And with that said Ourobaras would begin, it would go in just slashing head for head slashing them in two, it did not care where it to die by a Kaaos explosion even though out of its knowledge these had no Kaaos cores. It would be aiming to burn them all, which it was assisted by Claire who understood what it was trying to do. They would together go to stab the closest spawn with their flaming weapons which made the flames ignite the spawn, and then let the flames spread over the entire chamber from spawn to spawn, there was no room to dodge and they had no room to escape the flames this was the perfect way to kill them, of course the humans were gonna have problems with the flames, but Ourobaras did not care about that and Claire was still thinking about how she was going to deal with that. During all of this Ourobaras still continued to slash down his enemies even though they were burning laughing as it cut into their bodies. |

Beleth Immediately after he finished speaking, the room suddenly shook and darkened. Spawn, hundreds of them, began emerging from the pools of black liquid lined along the walls. What the fuck? What's happening? Nearby, he could hear another person begin shouting. He turned to see a demon that looked just like him, with white hair, protected from the spawn by some sort of gate. Listening to what he said, it seemed that this situation was a result of someone in their group. Noticing who the demon was talking to, it seemed to be the fault of the man with spiky black hair carrying a pair of daggers. By the look-alike's speech was over, it seemed that all of the spawn had emerged. There seemed to be over 1000 of them. Shit. There's no way I would stand a chance fighting them in my current state. But, there's also nowhere to run. He instinctively tried get away from the spawn and eventually found himself in the center of the room, standing by the three statues that he had noticed earlier. Some fighting had already begun, but it seemed that the spawn had not managed to make it to the center of the room just yet. Beleth would use what little time he had to frantically examine the strange statues. Each one was holding a sphere of dark energy, and had an inscription that read "Hail Aratta, who makes us pure! Come to cleanse us from the fires of our destruction." Fires of our destruction? Hmmmm. Does this have anything to do with that sphere of energy. As he spoke to himself, the spawn began closing in on him. Fuck! I'm running out of time. Well, might as well just try anything. Not knowing what to do, he reached out for the sphere of dark energy in hopes that something would happen. |

In less than a minute, the room was flooding with Spawns in the hundreds, with almost no space to move at all. One man, the one who was there before them, managed to lock a gate near the wall, trapping them with the Spawn. Suzanne would raise her voice so he could hear her. "Hey, can you take Edward out of this mess? He'll go back to normal if you take him outside this place. You don't even have to take me away too; I'd be grateful just from you saving him." If Teru decided to help and could take both her and Edward to the other side, she'd go with him. If Teru could take one away, she'd push Edward towards Tery and hold ground on the inside. If Teru didn't help at all, she'd just put in a bitter grin and put her back against Edward's, ready to try to defend Edward and herself against the Spawn. "Looks like your alter got us in some heavy trouble, huh? Still, I love you..." It seemed like two newcomers were trying something, but her Charge wasn't ready yet and so it was unlikely she'd be able to get to that point to help them, and she had some broken ribs as well. Suzanne would stand near Edward and start slashing at any Spawns threatening them, bringing her spear in wide arcs to try and clear some space for them while taking care to not hit Edward. It is not my responsibility to take care of children who go around and poke around things that do not belong to them... Teru moved his palm against his face. "I will take you, lady. To the medical bay where you can be revived. But Edward. I am so much tempted to see how human flesh would be melded by an orb of pure darkness. Would it twist into a shadow-fallen? As you see... You actually have to beg me to not experiment with what will remain of Edward after the shadow spawn are gone. After all dead men speak no tales. And I can assure you that is the moment when you need your tongues the most. But don't worry either way I will video it all. Teru's voice could've eaten away the credibility of his words. But considering what he was, the opposite was probably true here. There was not a trace of lie in his words. The man truly wanted to see how Arrata's orbs of pure darkness would cleanse others. Meanwhile waiting for Suzanne's reaction to his words he shouted at Ourobaras: "Sure, it is a promise! Please don't forget to share and subscribe! My nick is Cute_Teru!! Edward Pherae Field Timer:3/10 As hundreds of targets appeared, he grinned. "Now that's more like it" he thought as the sea of enemies sorrounded him. He felt the woman's back against his own, and as he did with everyone else in the room, he ignored her words. With the new surge of power he obtained from the crystals, he felt the power in his telekinesis grow even stronger. Not wasting any time he made a "wall" of telekinesis on both sides of his and the woman's sides any spawn trying to go through there would be immediatly pushed back and away, he also made a "wall" on their fronts, but this one pushed down, so every spawn that jumped at them would be brought down and slowed down once on the ground. He effectively made some sort of kinetic fortress sorrounding them, and since their targets were stupid, they would simply run at them to get killed. Edward put one of his daggers away and made a Void Edge on the one he left on his right hand, with it, he started to hack down the spawn as they tried to approach him, cutting as effectively as he could, and without the worry of an explotion, since these spawn were coreless. |
| Swarm: Razors: 522 Alive -3 Corpses Reapers: 372 Alive - 10 Corpses Brutes: 188 Alive Ouorbaras would be struck while he was talking to Teru, creating a big gash in his back by a Razor. Honestly, the spawn do not wait. And as he began to cut down the enemies, the fire would not spread from spawn to spawn. The spawn would not catch on fire, and the only fire was on their weapons. Which added extra damage to their attacks. As Beleth jumps and reaches out to touch the orb of dark energy, his arm was wracked with incredible pain and agony. His arm begins to mutate as he falls to the ground. But while this was happening, the spawn did not attack him as corruption began burrowing inside of him. The arm grew black claws and thorns from under neath the muscle pierced the skin as his arm took on a horrible state. Out of the new wounds, black fire emerged. ((-20 Light Affinity / + 20 Dark Affinity / Every 2 Posts, that arm is wracked in agony as corruption spreads. When this happens, take 1 Affinity from Light or Void and give it to Dark. This status can be cleansed by Krop' Tor, Benevolence, or an Angel. Upon death, subtract 5 Affinity from both Light and void, and add it to Dark.)) Rai would get absolutely swarmed when he tried to run for Beleth. He made the mistake of only accounting for two, three or even five. But there were hundreds of them. He got several cuts. On large cut along his outer thigh and a bunch of minor cuts on the arms and body. he would successfully reach Beleth as his arm was mutating. The spawn seemed confused by him. They werent sure whether to attack anymore. Though this wouldnt last long. If he didnt recover, he would be mobbed by hundreds. Edward wouldnt be able to hold back hundreds of spawn. His trick worked for a bit, killing a good few of them, but however, they quickly overwhelmed his ability to maintain his "walls". At least two of them would land a light hit on Edward, creating two scratches, and a Reaper would manage to once again cut Suzanne's waist with an attack. If they didnt change their strategy and fast and manage to get out of the completely close range they were in, they would certainly die in only a few moments. And that was likely unfavorable to them. Zellia had been on the way to leave the chamber when everything went to shit. Just barely managing to make it out before the portcullis shut behind her, nearly cutting her in half down the middle. Thankfully, she had the presence of mind to leave, considering that she was too injured to keep fighting anyways. Even if she wanted to, her Porting would not take her back inside for some reason. A meaningless massacare, so many resisted the tide yet they appeared to be overrun in a split-second. 'Stop Recording' Teru pressed the button. He hid his MHPT and walked beside Zellia. Teru tore pieces from his own shirt and would apply field-compression bandages over the wounds to save her life. "There you go, little princess. Am affraid it is leave or die now. If you don't mind, I'll carry you." Teru offered a piggyback ride for Zellia. If she'd accept they'd leave the area and he'd carry her to the Medical Bay If she refused the treatment, he'd leave the area leaving her as bleeding behind. If she refused the offer Teru would leave. Edit: Upon hearing someone mention word death, Teru would press the record button in his MHPT that was in his pocket. |

Edward Pherae Field Timer:4/10 Seeing as his former strategy worked only for a while, he stopped it and went for a new strategy. Since now he was way faster, nimble and strong than before, these spawn were no match for him at this point, he pulled out his other dagger and made it circle around him with a full lenght Void Edge. With the help of his new strenght and so on, he ran through the army of spawn with ease, cutting any that got in front of him, while also being completely aware of his sorroundings thanks to his field. That way, if any of the spawn tried to catch him by surprise, he would simply crush them against the floor along with any nearby spawn and continue attacking with the floating dagger and the one in his hand, while avoiding any other attempts of attacking him. With a grin on his face all the time. His newfound strenght clearly was overwhelming the stupid mass of targets, the power he obtained from all those shards clearly moved the balance of this fight to his side. Even if the progress was slow, his strenght was decreasing the horde little by little. |

Claire Hartfield & Ourobaras Ragnarok & Bahamut •VIT: 30 •XRA: 57 •STR: 30 •WILL: 30 •END: 30 •SPD: 100 •AGI: 30 •ACC: 30 Things weren't going as much as expected for Ourobaras, he had gotten stabbed in the back which did remind him of Sebastian who he still was gonna have to kill after he becomes stronger than Krop-Tor, however he could perhaps spare him it was a weird question after all even though he did dump all of that negative emotion into it this did result into what it has become now, and it was its creator in a way even if only accidentally, it was gonna have to think about that for sure. But it laid that thought in the back of its head for now, and decided to pay as much as possible attention to the battlefield, he quickly reorganized with Claire who was still close to him, and they were stand back to back. Claire would have quickly tore some cloth off and used it as a bandage on Ourobaras to stop the bleeding from getting too out of hand. Whilst this was happening he made sure no spawn could approach them by using her and its senses and killing them, however it did not even take a few seconds so nothing could have happened. They would then stand back to back, cutting any spawn which approached them with pure swiftness due to them being now 6 times as fast as a human and able to reach speeds of 40 meters per second when running. As a result with their ignited weaponry any spawn which came close to them would be slashed in half horizontally to save up time whilst killing, due to all spawn here being so slow they would not be able dodge nor block in time especially with these numbers. Even though they had so many number only so many could go at them at the same time making them only have to face so many of the spawn at most, and due to the spawn also focusing the four other people they were not all going for them. If somehow which seemed very unlikely if not impossible they still got in a dire state. A) If Fire balls were to not affect either of them with their explosion, Claire would shoot a fire ball at the ground if they were to get in a dire state to kill all spawn who were in the area and to reorganize themselves to continue slashing through spawn until they had to repeat it over and over again, until either all spawn were dead by them and the other people or they were out of charges and they once again got in a dire state than ai caramba how in the heck is that shit happening. B) If the Fire balls were to affect either of them with their explosion, they would Ourobaras would use his pair of two wings to fly over them while carrying Claire and get to a different location, which had less spawn due to them also going after others, killing any spawn which were on their landing spot. Afterwards they would once again go back to back for safety due to there being no possibility of a suprise attack and due to them sharing senses whilst in combat making them able to see what the other sees. They had weirdly enough noticed though whilst all of this was happening that the tower had shaken and that something was happening, however this had not staggered them or made them unable to do anything which they had done unlike how they planned to do it. |

Beleth When Beleth reached out and touched the orb, he felt a pain more intense than anything he had felt in years. Before he knew it, he had fallen to the ground. Within a few seconds, his left arm had become corrupted. The pain subsided after a while, and he managed to pick himself up off the ground without much trouble. Immediately after, the entire room seemed to shake violently. Huh? Was that because of what I just did? Whether the sudden shaking had anything to do with Beleth's actions was not the biggest issue for him, though. He took a closer look at his now mutated arm. It seemed as if the corruption would spread if he did nothing about it. Damn it. I have to get this sorted out as soon as possible. The last thing I want is to become one of those monsters. As he took another look around the room, it seemed as if the overall situation had not changed. The group was still surrounded by spawn on all sides, an no method of escape had presented itself yet. Everyone else seemed to be engaged in a fight against several spawn, except for Rai, who had run up to Beleth as his arm was mutating and was now standing next to him. Hey, got any ideas on how to get the fuck out of here? Another minute of this and we'll all be dead. As he waited for Rai to respond, he began thinking a plan of attack in the case that he had to fight the huge mob of spawn. It seemed that, given the sheer number of spawn, the most effective strategy would be to attack from a distance and whittle down their numbers before thinking about trying to get in close. The biggest problem, of course, was the fact that Beleth was an exclusively close-range fighter. None of his abilities allowed him to maintain a distance. But there was one other person with him at the moment. You know, if you have any sort of abilities at all, now would be the time to start using them. He remained on guard as he waited to see what Rai and what the spawn would do next. @Raiores |

Beleth As there was no way to escape, Rai and Beleth would have to fight. Beleth took the time to develop a strategy, hoping to give him and Rai a chance at victory, however small. Fine, we'll fight. For now, try to keep them at a distance with ranged attacks, if you have any. I'll take on any spawn that get too close while you try and keep the rest a bay. That is, if you do have a ranged attack. Otherwise, we'll just have to take them head-on. Now enough talking, let's get this fight started. He would wait to see whether Rai would charge in for a close-ranged fight, or use a ranged ability, since that would determine his actions. @Raiores |

It didn't help that Zellia was starting to feel the pain of the cuts she received during the first fight, but when people started to enter the tower and begin to fuck with the statues in the tower again Zellia didn't know what to do. She was going to speak up and say something, but by the time she noticed it was too late. There were people absorbing the cores from inside the statues left and right, and seeing as how the last time around 40 Spawn came from just one statue Zellia made a run for the exit. She used up her last port just to make it through the portcullis before it slammed shut, almost cutting her clean in half. She looked from the outside in seeing hundreds of enemies spawn from all around the room. It was going to be a massacre. Zellia was glad that she was able to get out herself, but knew that everyone in there would die if she didn't find some sort of help. Herself wasn't in much fighting condition to help out, let alone against what must have been at least a thousand enemies, so she ran through her mind all of the things she could do. She could use her MHPT to contact the academy and get some sort of fortress, and that's when two things happened. In her flustered mind state she didn't even notice that someone else, the demon, had made it out. She was thankful that another would survive that impossible battle, but she wondered if he could help. She could hear him talking to the ones inside, saying that he wouldn't help and would instead watch, but Zellia had a feeling she might be able to convince him to aid somehow. She could also hear from outside of the tower itself noises that didn't sound Spawn, she would go check to see if there were people that could help afterwards.The demon turned to her and started using his clothing to bandage Zellia's shoulder wounds. He started to offer to get her out of here to the medical bay back in the city, but Zellia thought this was as good a time as ever to try and partially seduce him Into helping the people still in there. Listen, I thank you for all that you've done, and you were a excellent fighter, but do you think maybe you could help me a little more? There are some pretty important people in there that could get you and me anything we wanted if we helped them out, and all we really need to do is go find some help. Ahh! I'm feeling faint, please, if this is the last request I make fulfill it like you are my lover. We need to help those people, I hear noises outside, that could either be help or enemies, if it's enemies I need you to fight them so we can go bring the news of this place to the academy, and if they are allies I need you to convince them to aid us immediately. Zellia the whole time was practically trying to crawl on Teru holding his hand and begging, she purposely looked very naive to increase the chance of Teru helping. She wasn't in much of a condition to walk back herself though, so the second best option would be to accept Teru'a offer to take her back to the Med Bay. |

The difference between the two was that Teru's main concern had been towards exit and for Zellia it was towards the blocked entrance. "What waits at the exit is no friend or enemy. It is an enemy of the darkness but they can't be reasoned with and they don't care of collateral damage. Academy is our best shot now..." Teru's voice was flustered. Like he had been betrayed. It might have been something he heard or saw. Teru would wrap his hands around Zellia as she hanged to him. If there was nothing else, he would carry her to the academy. But not without giving a warning first in the low tone. "No matter what you hear or believe you hear, keep your eyes closed. It is not healthy, especially for a human to stare at any of the four horsemen of the apocalypse... I will take you to safety - that I promise. Teru would try to leave the area with Zellia. |
