 This horrible travesty to all that is logical takes what little sense of logic the void has and cuts it up into little pieces. Up and down, left and right? These things do not matter here. They are meaningless. Left is Right and Right is Up, while Down is left and up is Right. Those directions are meaningless. The only directions here are forwards and backwards. Where you are going, and where you have been. Though even that doesnt matter as much as it should. This place is backwards logic incarnate. Even more so than the rest of the temple. Precursor: Omen Omen is a wildcard in every definition of the word. She picks up on a whim and things happen. She is drawn to areas where major events are going to happen. And typically, if you can feel her presence, there is either an accompanying sense of Relief or Anxiety. These things are what gives her the name Omen. She has been there in countless areas before major battles broke out. In worlds before even the darkness was there. She is the herald of disaster and prosperity alike. She acts like a child, can be found humming, an is actually quite nice if you dont piss her off. She is quite powerful for a being that doesnt exist. Blessing: Precursory Signs An Active ability. Read the area for signs of a future event. When used, you can determine if something good or bad will happen to you if you stay there. If you get nothing from the ability, that means nothing of particular note should happen. Gift: On a Whim Asking her for a gift will yield you something random. It can be very good, it can be weird, and it can be awkward. You really have no idea what you are going to get from this wild-card. |

How about this important looking thing? I dont need it." She would be holding a strange staff now. But she never pulled it from anywhere. As if she was always holding it. Where did she pull that from? She would Hold it up to view so Shirou could look at it. The Focus Rod allows its wielder to store the Elemental Type in the rod and re-fire it in a straight beam of said element. Functional Elements are Electricity, Fire, Ice, Kaaos, Holy, Dark, Void, and Spectral. This weapon can be used as a spear, though it isnt a good one. This weapon only stores the Elemental Energy that you are attacked by. It does not lessen the damage or negate it. It will only store the Elemental for one beam. It can store up to six elements at once. It is not limited to one charge per element. Only one charge fills up per attack recieved. Dodged or deflected attacks do not fill up charge. The attack MUST hit you and must be an elemental, ranged, energy based attack. |

Shirou Zaugin -Void Walker, Emissary of Krop' Tor- shirou would look confused as she passed through him his mind being flooded with information. causing him to hold his ears trying to get control over it again. a little warning would be nice you know....owhe would then see the focus rod looking confused and grabbing it. as he gripped it he would gain a basic knowledge of its operation as he wielded it practicing with it slightly. huh not as heavy as it looks whats it made out of? oh and thank you. you've done more then you need to and i'm glad to have the help. |

If he did as she instructed, and just walked forth, he would find himself at the end in just under five minutes. Its not as bad when you realize that there is only one direction you can go, and any other directions just confuse and distrot your perspective. After trying to make sense to it's surroundings - it technically spent an infinity on every second just trying to realize what in hell was happening around it. The experience and data that it was gathering from the chamber of omens was probably the most traumatic experience that a machine could have. Eventually it was able to device some causalities and laws inside it's processing that prevented it from becoming completely disabled. At least it could understand backwards logic, that the best way to understand it, is not to understand it. Nor to question it. Either way, Leyline would keep on going forward and forward. It could not evaluate a score on any other path, so forward was always the default option. |
| As Leyline traversed the single worst place he could possibly ever visit, he finally managed to make it to the only thing there. which was quit bizarre. As a machine, he may have systems for detecting things. e sees it, but nothing he has can tell him its actually there. Its different from the rest of the void. The Void is so empty that it even lacks nothingness itself. However, this is what nothingness looks like here. This precursor was a thing of nothing within a space that lacks even that. Poor Leyline has found hell trying to compute this bullshit. He could here a sound coming from "nothing" and this "sound" was like signing and humming and a voice. Following a tune that includes notes that doesn't exist on the spectrum of sound. This really must suck for him. "I sit and watch and sing my songs but it is far too late. For the blackened Queen takes her step to spread her purest hate. Oh they try very hard to free them of their fate. But in the end she has won, and now we all must wait. She will give them death and from death shall create, evil whom shall feed her thirst and hunger they will sate." She spins around on a heel and looks at him. All you could see before was her hooded back, but now looking under her hood reveals nothing. Except two glowing white eyes. The shadow cast by her hood supernaturally obscured her face. The machine did reply as well, it's voice had also an artificial tone to it. It was perhaps a little like two artificial things were conversing with one another. One with two glowing 'eyes', the other with red glowing 'eyes'. "This one identifies itself as Leyline. This is my very first encounter of the void. The aesthetics of this place... Are ... intriguing. From how I've understood, you are apparently an entity in the void. Voice pattern analysis would indicate you are artificial too." Leyline had started to store data collected from the void, for completely new pseudo-random functions to make it's system impervious against any traditional computational models. While initially it really grew to hate the illogicalness of the area, it was not absorbing the information to use it as a tool. Especially since it was not following any rules. |

The very notion of Omen having a bad side sent chills up his spine. But for now, she was happy. And all was good. It was a relief for him, but at the same time he could only imagine where the conversation would go at this point. Regardless, he still wanted to stay. He had to gain those blessings so that he could regain the power that he had lost. So, about receiving your blessing... what you said before, is that offer, ummm, still on the table? He was reluctant to say exactly what it was out loud, hoping that Omen had forgotten. |

So I think they are crops? Like I said. Isaac ate the last one at that party. So I never got any. I wonder how he is doing. That wine sure was tasty..." At that point, her mind was just trailing.
