I too am confused on why it states that there are 705, when there are only 686 chapters to be read. Whenever you see a decimal point behind a chapter title, that counts as a side story chapter. The best example of this is the Turn Back the Pendulum arc, which the manga doesn't count in the overall chapter count. You normally don't have to read such chapters but they tend to offer a bit more insight into the characters, or are just meant to be fun diversions. If you include these chapters then the total comes to 705 overall. |

| @Xsama https://myanimelist.net/manga/12/Bleach/moreinfo There's actually 21 extra chapters but two aren't included. Probably because they're too short (i.e. a page or two long) If there's any inconsistency in chapter count, chances are there'll be an explanation under the moreinfo tab. If you've read the main story, you could just call it completed. No one's going to judge for not reading the extras. |
