Isn't everybody having equal value essentially anarchy? Society needs some sort of inequality to make it work, like putting people in prison

Yep, all life is equal. Are we more important because we're a different species? That's speciesism. We are obviously superior, but we should respect other lives. If we hold ours dear, why should we take away other lives just because they aren't human. Now, obviously we need to eat and etc. But I'm talking about needless killing.
