| so im not hating or anything, but why is gintama rated so damn high? but it has so little watchers and so little members anad so little favorites? i mean common, its an outlier to the system. 4 gintama in top 10 anime series list man? im not hating, but something that good should have an at least average no. of favorites and watchers compare to the other top 10. but its contradicting. ughh |

| lmao i love gintama but i dunno why it's in the top 10 most peeps either love it or hate it if some drop it really early on, then the score don't change the score is only affected if the person has watched at least a fifth of the show, which in gintama's case is 40 episodes for the first season |

| First is of course the fact that each sequel is separately scored, making it kind of unfair. Second is the fact that Gintama is a hit-or-miss kind of show, so people either drop it early on and not rate it at all, or finish the show and liked it very much Last is the fact that this is simply a very well-done long-running series overall. Even if you combine all the scores of its seasons together it is still a solid 9 on MAL. Gintama is very unique show that takes risks in combining various genres and does it extremely well. Watch it, and finish it, Sir, and you would find out. |
